I've always thought that Criterion was one of the better developers because they always cared about their Burnout games, but when EA bought them, I was afraid that they were going to lose their talent. I'm happy to see that this was not the case and that Criterion is still on top of their sh*t! I will be picking this up day one and support any and all developers, that are able to produce quality games and take the time to actually work instead of making a vanilla port with ZERO enhanc...
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is a great addition to the 3DS, no more waggle controls, I'm excited!
I agree it would be delusional, but that isn't what the article is necessarily suggesting. What the author is saying is that Nintendo should just focus on exclusive first and third-party software, such as Bayonetta 2, Lego City, The Wonderful 101, Zelda, Metroid, etc., which I totally agree with. Sure multiplats are cool, but what's even better are third-party exclusives on Wii or Gamecube such as Star Wars Rouge Squadron or RE0, RE Remake, RE4, No More Heroes, etc.. I'm well awar...
"I think it’s time for Nintendo to embrace the fact that people buy Nintendo hardware for Nintendo’s own software. It should stop holding back its own development to make room for third party-support that will never come, and instead blow everyone away with the sheer force of its own weight."
Couldn't have said it better myself!
The simple fact that they delayed the Wii U version for a simultaneous release on the 360/PS3 and not for development reasons, made me take my two reserves off today! I'm all for multiplats but when companies do stupid shit like this I won't support them. Looks like I'll be getting this way down the line when it's used, cuz I won't support moronic acts like this! This game had two and a half weeks to come, wtf! Oh well, two sales lost on my part... I tweeted them that too!...
This is the crap that pisses me off! Why the hell would Xenoblade be a GameStop exclusive title, when it is in fact one of the most popular jrpg's on the Wii? How the hell do developers expect to make money on games they're not selling after their first initial stock? I seen that game maybe once used nearly 3-4 months ago and haven't seen it since. I guess Monolith Soft underestimated the demand for this game and are moving on to X instead. I think that they should still send out ...
Whatever helps you sleep at night! Wii U is indeed a next gen console. Now if you are looking at it from a graphical point of view then that's fine, but if your looking at it as a whole then of course it is! Do you really think that anyone in their right mind wouldn't buy a game like Bayonetta 2 or X because Uncharted 40 or GOW 17 comes out on PS9!? Maybe you wont but unlike you most gamers buy games for playability not strictly for graphics. Give it up man!
I called it when I first seen it! I had a conversation with my cousin who was telling me that it wasn't real time and I told him that it was a short teaser in real time, he just didn't want to believe it. Anyway, absolutely stunning but I really want to see more. I could bet that it will maintain a constant 60fps like the first one did, even with all the detail of that snip-it.
This guy... -_-
Everyone knows that games built from the ground up on any console always have an advantage over multiplats. This looks amazing yet he still finds a way to knock it. smdh... Anyway, pure awesomeness!
The Gamepad is an excellent controller that has yet to show its true potential. I don't know if it will become the best controller but it certainly will cause waves once its true potential is exposed. ZombiU did a great job in showcasing what is possible on the Gamepad, I want more developers to take it to the next level. I can't wait to see what Platinum games does with Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101; I also can't wait to see what Monolith Soft does with X. I've played Ray...
"In a surprising turn of events, though, Pachter decided to challenge NeoGAF and ‘prove’ how GAFfers are (mostly) smart and are (mostly) assholes."
"Pachter went one step further and claimed that he’s ‘amazed at the asshole factor on this website‘ and that ‘the asshole/civil ratio must be 2:1 or more."
So now he's predicting how many ASSHOLES are on the website!? This guy's a joke!
"Oh gee, they call me out o...
Magnificent, Monolith Soft is really on a roll! Fingers crossed that they deliver the way Xenoblade Chronicles did... Now we just need Bravely Default to come to the west and the 3DS will have a decent library of JRPG's. Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter, and Project X Zone are my next two games to get.
How is this news? Everyone knows that the Wii U is GPU heavy and that it is more than capable of shelling out graphics that look amazing. Look at X, that games has been shown early on and for a game of that size and scope, to be able to retain its visual fidelity this early on is impressive and goes to show that developers are barley scratching the surface.
Please add inverted Y-axis controls for the Gamepad! They have inverted Y-axis controls for the main game but for some reason don't have it for the Gamepad when using it separately.
Only in a perfect world my friend...
For once in my life I agree with Capcom! Gameplay is the most important part of a game. This is the main reason as to why I keep coming back to games like Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Super Mario Galaxy, Bayonetta, Xenoblade, etc. and others like ZombiU and DarkSiders I&II where most of the gameplay worked well.
SOFTWARE! They need some major third and first-party support. I'm not saying that they had a bad software line-up, but they need to keep dropping games month after month and in between those months, they need to drop some first and third-party exclusives. Bottom line, Nintendo needs Mario Kart, SSM, Bayonetta 2, The Wonderful 101, Monster Hunter, Rayman, X, etc... in order to get out of this funk they're in!
Cool, add me if you like! Right now I'm finishing up Bayonetta on 360 and going to pick up God of War on my PS3 and Fire Emblem on 3DS XL next. I'll be getting Rayman and a few other exclusive Wii U games soon and also have COD on Wii U. My NNID is DarkSouls, one word, two capital letters. Have fun! (edit) I'll try to be on as often as I can but have to jump across every platform for a limited amount of time because I started my new career on Monday, but seeing as gaming is my onl...
I have 8 games including eShop, I also know a few people that have between 3-5 games also including eShop and my son has 4. However, I think that Nintendo needs a lot more games to come out soon because I don't see these games lasting too long. Most games are multiplats that are great but nothing special so lets get the ball rolling on Bayonetta 2 and X.
Damn Nintendo! Fire Emblem is a great game and here they are shipping limited quantities on purpose, just so they could make people buy it on the eShop, at least that's my theory... Either way, I reserved my copies and picked them up day one! If there's one game to buy on the 3DS this year, it should be Fire Emblem; I'm having a great time playing it!
