I've honestly NOT played an animal crossing game, EVER! I will however try the 3DS version because Japan is really loving that game, so it has to be for a reason. I intend to find that reason and hopefully like the game.
I seriously think that it might turn out to be one of their best systems ever made. The amount of time I spend with my XL is astonishing! I don't go to work without it and always have a few hours a day to play it at work mostly. I love how it keeps track of your play time in great detail. Last year I clocked over 1000 hours on it and am already at 440hrs this year alone. That's money well spent...
