PS4 and bottlenecks should NEVER coexist in the same sentence! It will be a long time before developers start talking bottlenecks and limitations on the PS4. The unified RAM alone gives developers the freedom to program games to the best of their abilities, without any headaches whatsoever!
The only way Dark Souls II would benefit from a PS4/720 release would be if it was designed from the ground up on those systems, taking advantage of the extra power, and being optimized the way it should be. Those who doubt, or just plain disagree, have obviously never played the Prepare to DIE Edition, which was a straight port on the PC.
