You can't compare action games to racers. Action Adventure games will always have more people interested in them.
Naw. PS2 had a ton of big exclusives like MGS, Kingdom Hearts, Tekken, GTA, DMC, Final Fantasy, etc. PS4 is nowhere near that. Sure perhaps sales-wise, but not games-wise.
Street Fighter IV sold over 8 million copies across PS3, Xbox 360, and 3DS.
I'm glad Street Fighter didn't sell well. That's what Capcom gets for being a complete d-bag to Xbox One owners. Talking about save up 300 bucks for a PS4 and upcoming iterations of SF5 will never go to Xbox. Whatever. SF IV sold over 8 million copies on PS3, Xbox 360, and 3DS. SF V is struggling to break 1 million copies sold after having been out for a year.
The only reason I'd go back is to beat the Ballad of Gay Tony, seeing as I already beat the main game and The Lost and the Damned. GTA V was way better than IV.
Dead Rising is not a first party Microsoft title. It's made by Capcom.
NPD is for America and it it tracks retail and some digital. Just give it up already dude.
Lol. They thought by ditching PS Vita fans that Gravity Rush would sell more. It didn't even break the top 20 on the PS store. Perhaps they should have released a Vita version after all. It reminds me of how the developers of Tearaway thought that by bringing their game to PS4 it would magically sell a lot and then it didn't even sell 300,000 copies.
They probably didn't have that much stock to sell through.
Let's be honest. Japanese developers/publishers are stupid. Most of their games don't even sell well, but they still make their games PS4 exclusive. Releasing a niche game and having it compete with other PS4 exclusives is beyond idiotic. That makes little if any business sense. Plus we all know mobile is dominating Japan. If Japanese developers had any REAL sense they would make a game geared toward the Western markets in Europe, North America, Australia, etc as those are bigger mark...
Of course there is hypocrisy. These same gamers get mad when a third party game is made exclusive to Xbox One, but when a game is made exclusive to PS4, they are mysteriously silent.
Enjoy it PS4 fanboys. Cus when Scorpio hits nobody will even be talking about the PS4.
Who said it was an exclusive PS franchise? If there is a sequel there is no guarantee it will be exclusive to PS4.
Why are you acting like that is some great victory? Everybody knows the PS4 has a substantial lead over the Xbox One outside of North America. Those games selling more is because people in Japan don't own Xbox Ones.
PS2 had way more games to choose from though.
It'd be cool to see another Shadow of Mordor game. That game was a blast once you initially got the combat down which was tricky for me at first, even having played all the Batman games.
Should have released it on Xbox One. That's what they get for trying to make Street Fighter exclusive.
They said it will be 4.5 times stronger than the Xbox One though. If that's the case we might actually start seeing some next-gen games.
I actually agree. That's why I'm hoping Xbox Scorpio turns things around. The only game I've played this gen that I fell in love with is probably Sunset Overdrive. Everything else is just the same ol stuff. That's not to say there hasn't been solid games, just nothing mind-blowing. It's been so boring, I've started playing old games from previous generations.
Having PS3 games on PS Vita was awesome. I remember playing The Last of Us on PS Vita. Sony really messed up with this decision.
