#1 Reason Western Games Dominate the Video Game Industry. Third Party Japanese Developers make stupid business decisions. They rather release their game on a system with a ton of competition, instead of releasing their game on console where their game will actually stand out. They also gear their games toward Japanese people and neglect the interests of the rest of the world. Most will never make a game that sells as much as GTA or Call of Duty.
The Scorpio could do really well if the games are there and the people are impressed with it's visuals. If and only if Microsoft goes hard at E3, then I could see Scorpio being a hit esp. at the right price point.
That remains to be seen. We have to see what Microsoft has in the works as far as games. Xbox is gonna need third party developers to make exclusives for Scorpio if it is to stand a chance against PS4.
Most people's PCs can't play games in 4k 60 FPS.
Xbox One S came out before PS4 Pro though.
Between the time Uncharted 4 released until the Last Guardian came out was kind of a drought
VR is too expensive and there aren't enough must have games for it to justify it's price. VR is a cool piece of tech though.
It was a pretty good game. My only complaint was that I felt that TOO much of the story was told through collectibles like documents and what not.
Once the hype wears off, people will realize that the Switch has no games and it looks almost exactly like the Wii U.
It's an RTS game, so this is not surprising. Most gamers don't typically play RTS games.
Nice. It's probably the only COD I haven't beaten...well except Infinite Warfare.
I think the Scorpio will be a bigger deal than people think. If it wasn't gonna be a big deal then Microsoft would have released it in the same window as the PS4 Pro. Plus all this talk of exclusives and what not surely isn't going unnoticed by Microsoft and they probably will want to make amends for Scalebound's cancellation. I don't really know that Microsoft can afford to release an expensive console while ignoring customer demands because if they do Scorpio will be DOA....
I'm okay with first-party exclusives. But 3rd party games being exclusive is kinda annoying. It literally makes no sense to release a 3rd party game for only one platform, unless you are being paid by Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft to do so.
Final Fantasy XV?
Games like Nier:Automata and Nioh could end up on Xbox One eventually. Chances are those games are just timed exclusives and with the success of them on PS4, I could definitely see the developers bringing those games to Xbox One in the future.
Their prices aren't competitive enough. I can't remember the last time I bought a game from Gamestop. I buy most of my games from local/small chain video game shops or digitally. But when I do buy from a big retailer it is almost certainly Amazon or Best Buy because they have good deals every now and then unlike Gamestop.
If one has a Xbox One, PC, or Switch, then one really doesn't need to play PS4 exclusives right when they come out because they will be busy playing other games. Plus just because a game is old that doesn't mean it isn't still good.
I'm okay with Microsoft. I don't need a constant barrage of new exclusives. It frees me up to play multiplat games and to play games on other platforms. Plus I don't feel like I am rushing through a game just to get to the next.
PS4 fanboys are hurt, because they were talking so much smack to Xbox fans. In reality, it makes much more sense for Sony to put their games on PC because Sony has probably sold most of the PS4s that they are gonna sell, and now through PS Now they have an opportunity to make even more money.
All I know is that I had a ton of fun with Civilization Revolution back in the day. I probably won't go back and play it but it really was a good game.
