Thank the lord, now hopefully all the 360'ers will shut up about mgs4 rumours. Nice that you got this, not sure if it's exclusive though as if it was surely he would have said? not that it matters.
Other than this announcement not much games wise?
Here is a few reasons why they won't/havnt cut the price yet
1) It's selling the same if not better than the PS2 did in the same time scale (look what happened there...)
2) It's selling more than the xbox 360 did in the same timescale from launch (and the 360 had no direct competition at the time...)
3) It's at a higher price than both of the above, and it's STILL achieving that
This year I am sure they will cut it, they have a plan and they are sticking ...

I'm not going to go on about sites rating games low on purpose - but seriously, how can they be so different? lots of sites give it a 10/10, how can another site then give it a 7? or 7.5? I just do not get it. Their experience can not possibly have been that bad to quote what someone else said on here today - 7.5 is good for an average game, but 7.5 is not good for a great game, which infamous is.
I wander what the average would be if it hadn't have been for the 3 rogue 7/10's
I'm sure they don't do it on purpose but it's so dodgy that over 40 reviews give it 8's and mostly 9+ and these 3 sites say a 7.
yer metacritic is slow updating huh? only 1 10/10 on there but there has been several top scores
for me the destructible environments in BF:BC give it a BIG +
Been playing this, and it is NOT a 7. Simple. and graphically it is far from bland, a very detailed, bustling and alive city.
I dont think BF:BC ever got the recognition it deserved. For me it was better than COD, purely on the basis it had great maps, vehicles and destruction...and by the sounds of it they have improved that even further, looking good and I hope more people take notice of this even with COD6 out
I still find it amazing how supposedly unbiased gaming journalists can review so so differently, some ranging in the low-high 9's, a 10 and then this site giving it a 7...? I do feel some sites dont review the game as it is, they review based on their own personal feelings towards particular genres

If a game is rubbish or flawed then fair enough, everyone agrees, but inFamous clearly is not such a game, so where is there to ...
I wouldn't get so excited if I were you, for one, its just numbers, it doesn't mean it has a fantastic line up of games to play - more people probably buy supermarket own brand bacon, doesn't mean it's the best bacon. Secondly, it only outsold PS3 by 48,000, which, for a console that is half the price is not that great a difference....
But, if it makes you happy then great! :)
Things are pretty good for Sony and PS3 owners right now. Think about it, we have unmatched 1st party support ensuring we get games such as Uncharted, GT5, MAG, Infamous, God of War, Heavy Rain, all using the power of PS3 (I mean look at the latest Uncharted vid - incredible!), but THEN we get 360 games a little later with improvements over their original Msft release, best of both worlds?
Well one thing is for sure, this STORY has legs! it's been going on for years and by now I think some PS3 owners wish it WOULD come out on 360 just to stop the bl00dy hoping, wishing and rumours. DLC would reignite this game for same, but I don't think anybody will lose any sleep over this coming to 360, really? its an old game now, there is much more coming out soon. If it does go 360 then yes, it's a shame that they couldn't stay exclusive but hey ho, that seems to the way of the gaming w...
It's not about the score, 8.7 is great. Its about the fact one of his flaws is blatantly WRONG. Which puts the review in a suspicious position and makes you doubt the legitimacy.
I don't let reviews buy my games for me, but I really cannot stand these wannabe sites that pop up when they think there is a chance for a quick bunch of hits.
hmmmm, I loved the COD4 and COD5, however, people are right in saying the graphics are no beauties...BUT, its a teaser vid so its early, but then its not THAT early as it launches in what, 5 months? however, I guess we shouldn't expect too much of a leap in graphics and rely in the quality gameplay from the first....some of us are spoilt with graphics these days I guess
I personally do not see the negatives these reviews highlight.
I suppose I feel spoilt after being brought up with games like 'horace goes skiing' so to me these games are just incredible, does 'pacing' make it a worse experience? No, of course it doesn't. Does the fact the boss is easier to kill that several of his henchmen make the game worse? No, of course it doesn't.
....and you don't think they added 'fog' to create atmosphere.....?
I'm sure they can co-exist as with PS3 and PS2, if/when PS4 comes out the pS3 with probably be around $150, who wouldn't buy a PS3 for that?! I would quite happily invest in both, the PS3 has been awesome so far and is just getting better and I have every faith Sony will continue to do what they do
It needs to do something new for me. I bought GTA4 with massive enthusiasm as I loved all the GTA games, but, I was so disappointed and sold it within a week or so....not sure what it needs, but it needs something
2 great maps at a great price, I think the bullet train level is the most technically impressive level I have ever seen.....a massive train, with loads of animation always happening, sheets blowing, constant light changing, 32 player and all whilst the whole darn thing is moving - very very good indeed.
