I personally don't see the problem with installs, I remember the old days when you had to load a cassette tape up to play a game which consisted of only different coloured lines!

I actually thought alan wake had good graphics, but you see them together like this (even low quality vid) the difference between what is being pumped out of each console is still far far apart

You are very right, ps3 are very hard to find, yet some people still wish to believe that everything is fine and ps3's are everywhere, as it suits their little world!
This was approved because somebody singled out the PS3 sales drop, so therefore this one was approved to avoid any bias towards one console or the other - but yes, it would have made much more sense to have one submission with all consoles results
They will fix the loading times, they have already said a patch it being worked on to reduce them
they also said the reason for the load times is because it is rendering the whole thing on the fly, so the track, the racers, the katrs etc etc, all custom, all on the fly
Based on the beta, I am surprised at some of the lower scores - a pick up and play kart racer (with in my opinion fantastic and addictive gameplay and handling) with almost limitless customization, and unlimited tracks created by you and the world - we must be spoilt these days to give that a B!
why are people moaning about price? do people realise what work goes into this kind of thing?
you are basically getting a new console with this add-on, even at £100 its not a bad deal!
If that's all it takes to be turned off a game of this quality then maybe just maybe you wasn't really interested in the first place

The thing with GT5 is, it can go all quiet and people start getting annoyed, but then they release a video, such as that night racing one and I think, take as long as you like, this is a masterpiece...

It seems to be variable, the vid is clearly one of the longer ones - but like others have said, it will no doubt get patched and in fact is probably being worked on now
not a game breaker for me, I remember how long it used to take to get into games of cod4, if the experience is good enough you'll wait

I thought the controls in the beta felt really good, easy to pick up and play, but more to learn and skills to learn if you want - unless they have changed for the worse since the beta
I can see the doubts, and I have never been big into motion control - unless somebody has had a wii and I get involved when I'm there. I think its the same with move, I may well pick it up just as an extra to have for those party nights
that said, I am interested in the more serious games, like the one with the flash light - it intrigues me to think of the kind of spooky game that could be created that gets you really involved

if the game is good enough you'll put up with it - and by the looks of things it is - day one for me
There are several vids on youtube now, even though they are off-screen captures it looks amazing, also some show a hood view which apparently is new to GT
be prepared for a E3 info-fest, and hopefully that all important release date
