Not sure it was the COD community, I hate COD and whilst I loved the U2 MP pre-patch it did take a fair stack of bullets to take someone down, I think it's a good thing, it still has a thriving community - that speaks volumes
It does look better -still nothing amazing or particularly special about the graphics - but then it's the playability halo fans love isn't it i think
both systems produce great exclusives, both are restricted in their own way by multiplat games - but i'd say ps3 more so, ps3 exclusives pass most 360 exclusives and the system has been out for less time
360 is yet to bring out a game that matches KZ2, U2, GT5 - just my opinion of course

Msft are being like this because Sony offer something for free, which Msft charge for - so they will of course take up any opportunity to try and tarnish that
and I STILL don't understand why people want cross game chat so much - I really actually don't understand the need for it
I have been a gamer for around 20 odd years, PSN delivers more than enough features for online gaming - and it's free - to me, that's all I need to know
I wouldn't be happy buying a console and then paying to play online - i'm amazed so many people quite happily do it
fear not, alan wake will come to the pc. msft have done this to make it a 'true' exclusive and to boost system sales
I'm pretty sure it'll release on pc at a later date - remedy wouldn't let it not i'm sure
Third party exclusives are coming to an end, game devs need the money and 1 platform no longer cuts the mustard. Sony know this and that is why they have a shed load of 1st party devs, they know that 1st party will produce the best games overall and bring the best out of the system
I doubt you will EVER see a 3rd party game making the most out of either system's capabilities
I still don't get the hype for this game, looks very alone in the dark, animations are pretty dodgy and the graphics are nothing out of the standard this gen - maybe it's the story people are looking to? it does look pretty atmospheric
at least he is still pleased with the NPD, even though xbox is being outsold worldwide it doesn't seem to phase him to much
it may be hurting their sales - but they are still outselling the 360 worldwide, and have been for months - so whilst it's not hurting them and stopping them 'win' as you say it, it's hurting them because they could be winning each month by a larger margin

woh, I thought this was amazing? sure I like the atmosphere and presumably the story will be good too - but what happened to the graphics!?
why is there so much focus on N4G regarding NPD? surely people want to see worldwide figures?
Why is there so much coverage of NPD? is there official worldwide body that distributes figures? as that is the picture everybody wants to see surely?
My guess is, that if the people moaning in this thread were old enough to have had a megadrive, or master system or something similar - then they wouldn't be moaning in this thread.
