The next gen console starts when the first 8th gen console comes out, oh would ya look at that it's already here.
It doesn't surpise me that much, apple doesn't seem to advertise it's games on the app store as much as nintendo or android does.
Yea because specs win a generation (sarcasm), the only console to have more power and actually win it's generation is the snes. It's the games that matter.
I'd rather see sony or nintendo buy them up, they seem like the only publisher who wouldn't be strict on them to change their games and if they would be it would be for glitches, gameplay problems. If microsoft gets it then it will probably be bad, like rare.

I mean i wouldn't be surprised this is probably the first gen where the playstation console was a head power wise. Microsoft can easily throw hardware at a lose and make up for it with the other money they make. Sony not so much anymore.
I still think sony suing over it was stupid, if it required make up or something to make him look like kevin, then yes i'd agree, but if he looked like kevin butler naturally then i'd say sony is wrong
I really don't see how the wii u was a failure. It launched with a good launch selection from a digital and retail front. it had game like assassians creed 3, the best version of ng3, nsmbu, scriblenauts, sonic and sega racing, nintendoland, neo assault, Trine 2 (the best looking console version), Mighty switch force, call of duty, and zombiu (which admittly should have been delayed slightly). It wasn't a perfect launch but it had a great selection of games
Yes i do, but some of the cell's power is used to produce graphics, which if they had a better gpu they wouldn't need that extra cpu power if they included a better gpu. If they would have gone with a tradition cpu, they could have put a better gpu in the console at the price point they sold the ps3 at.
I doubt sony will go with the cell again. I have no doubt in my mind for the money they spent on the cell processor at launch i'm sure they could have put a cpu on the 360's level (if not better) and a gpu that would produce graphics on the ps3 level (again if not better)
Um they have 2 great games under their belt, granted it depend who you ask but they are good in my book
Heck if I remember right it actually sold better than the vita has at that price point
Rock star is too busy making phone ports. I love rock star, but I doubt they have as much an interest in the vita than they did the psp
Tbh It's not really that impressive to me of course it's gonna beat hardware from hardware for 7 year old technology. Granted it's nice, but not exactly surprising that it is.
It's not a next gen jump, but it's a jump nonetheless, but i don't think we will see a jump like we did in the ps2 to ps3 jump. Unless microsoft/sony wait to release a new console, even then nintendo will already be ahead if the wii u sells well.
While I liked the art style of sw I would like to see an art style like that, but with full on cell shading instead
Well obviously it's won't be hard to patch since the guy isn't even giving away what game was used to hack it. I don't see it lasting long.
Even if, this is an if, dmc does do very well and gets well received by fans, I don't think it's gonna make me, or anyone, trust capcom again. I have no doubt it's going to be a good game, a good dmc game? maybe not, but if it's a fun game i'm all for it.
I don't see why anyone would want a pokemon rpg, they are pretty much made to be played in short burst. A pokemon mmo would probably be better for a console setting.
