I know for sure I'm getting ouya as an impulse buy. I mean it's only $99, cheap to develop for so it will definitely have indie developers like current phones, which it basicly is.
That game is so broken, it has it's moments sure, but they might as well just remake it as the amount of work to patch would be alot anyways.
I'd wait on the review then, i know it's a ps3/360 port, but then again it's a port. I'm waiting on the 3ds version reviews as well,as it is built from the ground up so i wanna see if it's any good.
Considering how much third parties have invested so far. It's pretty iffy hopefully though. Even Sony got lazy when they made resistance Vita. I still can't figure out why Sony threw that in the trash by choosing nihilistic.
I want a return to the experimental Microsoft the original Xbox had it seemed like the original Xbox had a better variety of games (although they weren't all good, at least they tried), while the 360 had better rated exclusives
Welcome to the world of journalism :P, its always been like that and likely to continue. It's about the money and such.
I'd assume the people who play it on wii u are the same people who played with the wii remote on the wii. I used to try to play it with a classic controller and you'd get owned all the time. The wii remote really does help accuracy for me and alot of other people, even if the learning curve was a pain.
Let's not forget the 360 is the Xbox version (that had better graphics) with 4x anti aliasing that the 360 adds to Xbox emulation
20 for me and that includes the whole PS2 trilogy, minus the PSP games.
Sorry mika square soft and rock star are both over pricing their products even though they are good, I could go out and buy the whole PS2 trilogy for $20. I'd pay for it if they actually remade it (like they eventually will on iOS as history tells us for a 1/3 of the price), but they didn't.
It's not that their restricted, but people simply don't talk about it because they feel awkward about it. Especially when it comes to video games, which unfairly always gets the bad rap compared to films or books that show the same amount of violence, or even using social issues as a plot point.
Wish they would focus on the framerate instead of improve it from the look department, crysis 2 already looked good enough.
Still waiting on the android release loved gta III on the android (with a controller, the touch was okay though).
Re6? Really what were they trying to do with that? Make it a shooter with crappy shooter controls that no one wanted. If they were gonna try they would have done what resident evil fans wanted and made one akin to the original games.
So instead of fixing the flawed version, they can it and give us a crappy one with more bugs than a woodland forest. This is the same crap that killed guitar hero and Tony hawk.
Open gl is as close to an equivalent we have, it tends to have a bit slower framerates according to benchmarks, but ps3 had open gl and i'm sure it will continue with the ps4
@Biggest, it didn't only help Rage it can help other games too, especially if they use the hard drive extensively.
Thank goodness the ps4 will be using a gpgpu, it should mean that developers will develop for the ps4 version as lead and be able to port it down to wii u easier, thus saving them money compared to making a xbox 720 version and porting it to the other two (pending on the gpu/cpu set up of xbox 720).
@shutupandtakemymoney the Wii u disk is 25 for a single layer 50 for a dual layer
"At times, Xbox 360 pulls ahead but always at the expense of image consistency - screen-tear is a very real problem. Wii U occasionally has a frame-rate advantage over its competitors, but can crash significantly, and we definitely felt the difference in the controls." & "While you may feel as though you're wading through treacle when the frame-rate really tanks, the exact same phenomenon is evident on the previously preferred PlayStation 3 version too - we went back to...
