Given it a month or two and the online should be decent. Not to mention Wii controls, which I really liked on the Wii. Its a shame they were never brought over to PS move.
@Logicwins, also if you want to play resident evil, monster hunter, kingdom hearts, pokemon, kid icarus, the 3ds already has other games than mario.
I really wish developers would make regenerating health option, the only game i can remember doing this was the goldeneye remake, but then again it was to make it harder.
"That are only available on wii u" is the key phrase, but it would be a good chance to get some independent games or games other publishers haven't picked up or would fund, cough bayonetta 2. But since alot of developers have said it's easy to develop for it's just a matter of useing the wii u's gpgpu
It sounds almost like the opposite of the ps3, in that in order to get the most amount of power on screen stuff need to be unloaded to the cpu on the ps3. Where the Wii u needs to have CPU instructions put onto the gpgpu in order to get good performance. Thankfully I don't think it will take developers to catch on as gpgpus have been out for awhile, unlike the cell which was pretty new.
That sucks, they weren't the greatest developers but i think i've enjoyed almost every game they've made. Heck they even made the best version of quantum of solice on the ps2 XD awesome 3rd person shooter imo.
I think innovative controllers are good and well, but a console needs to come with a standard array of buttons. I think nintendo themselves realized this as they included standard buttons on the new wii u controller.
Hopefully it's only a one time deal, i'm sure nintendo waited so it could polish the experience, but darn thats a big file size
@asimleonheart most modern CPUs have a slower CPU speed but they can do more than 6 year old CPUs with a higher clock rate its just how tech works
That if you can find one, if it's like the wii it might be a while before that's possible.
I still use it to this day, i think i'm one of the few that still do, i have a huge back catalog of gamecube, wii, and wiiware games still. It's a cheap console to buy awesome games for XD
Not to mention most of the games left would be grey lifeless shooters. I mean i love the occasional shooter, but man i would be playing games alot less if nintendo died out.
I've seen a bunch of them, but maybe that's just me.
It does not have weaker graphics and cpu, nintendo would literally have to have companies remake older chip sets to make that even possible. Which would cost nintendo more money than if they went with a modern chipset, it's early launch titles that were ported in a very short time period.
Meanwhile on another article mika was just talking up call of duty vita, yep you must know so much about video game depth and originality :s
Exactly Sony is advertising the PS vita as console (ps3) quality. People are naturally going to be disappointed when it isn't, just like the psp being compared to the ps2. I'm sure I'll get disagrees for this, but Sony needs to quit advertising it as console quality to get the comparisons to stop.
Maybe a good vita resistance game? I hope so
I guess it's good to see digital gaming rising this gen then, it might be the only way to find anything original/new next gen.
It's always funny how these console hate articles always contradict each other. One moment the wii u has no advantages by having a touch screen, then the next article says the wii u has an unfair advantage (an advantage that isn't exactly unfair at that).
I find it very doubtful Nintendo said they were done developing games for Wii, why would they develop new hardware?
