Probably, but what worries me more is how it will hurt original titles on vita. Why would people buy a spin-off of a title when they can just buy the ps4 game instead? If we don't get original games it might hurt the people who use the vita to play original games.
I love indies and all, but how do you sell a portable on indies alone? Indies tend to come to devices most people own already. I don't know, but sony needs to find someway to get some bigger games on it (gta, gran turismo, etc.) and market the great games there are to play on it because there are plenty of them.
Greedy people don't flag videos they make money off of via shared ad revenue if the video creator deletes said video. This last week is just stupidity.
How many of them work on xbox though? most of the indies i've seen on xbox are western development studios. I haven't seen very many Japanese indies on xbox live.
I know john likes to rant, but this is more of stating the obvious at this point. He even said he hopes it changes. At this point everyone knows microsoft has had problems with plenty of third party indies. People wanna point toward minecraft and fruit ninja, but would they have shown up had they been popular?
I probably should pick it up then, prices might go up like the dreamcast, xbox, gamecube, and ps2 versions did after capcom lost it the first time.
@alucidmind and Google clearly doesnt want anyone using copyrighted content used in videos regardless of fair use laws. Its their call, if you had you own website then fair use is in tack, but not on other peoples sites if they don't want that content on their site then they don't have to.
They didn't break any laws that's what I'm saying. If I had a video site and told you to not post cars in my terms, is it then illegal to say take off the video of the car? No it's not because you would have accepted the terms in order to post it.
I've actually amassed a huge collection of indie titles on wii u, 3ds, and (to a less extent) wii. There are great games.
I'd really like nintendo to maybe give indies a chance to work on nintendo ips. I think it would give them a good chance at succeeding and then nintendo could squeeze out a couple more games like f-zero, star fox, etc as a downloadable game or maybe even retail.
Everyone accepted censorship the minute they agreed to a terms and condition which probably had the obligatory "terms and condition are subject to change". Youtube is a business and it's up to the business to make up the rules when it comes down to content. It's not illegal, but it sucks for everyone involved.
I suppose at a certain point you can only lose so much money. For the amount of ram the ps3 has it certainly put it to good use last gen.
It is a real job it's no different than a movie reviewer or news reports. Different platform, but essentially the same for alot of youtubers. Youtube better change their policy or their lose the profit they gain from these people they're trying to report.
vgx isn't worth debuting anything at. Seriously how does one developer win developer of the year releasing one game and not win game of the year. I love both the last of us and gta v equally, but it makes no sense. VGX was a joke.
Half-life 3? Man i really hope it happens soon :(
Look at the xbox 360 or xbox, they used x64, power pc, amd and nvidia cards. Power pc, while not as popular as x86, it was very common and yet in both the consoles above there were big jumps in graphics five years after their release. It's just a matter of better coding and better use of hardware.
I believe Nyxus was referring to the ps4 version being digital only regardless of the ps3 game being digital or physical. Edit: saw his later post explaining it.
But there wikipedia page says they've only developed it on ps3 and the only games they've done recently is playstation all-stars and flower on vita/ps4. Hopefully it's them doing it though.
No it's not, but it uses some of the framework for link between worlds. It was originally pitched as a remake though by Miyamoto, but Aonuma wanted to make a sequel instead and they agreed on making a sequel.
"we are the best company in the world.” as said by every business in the world, but the proof is what separates the liars and the people who care to prove it. EA truly fits in with liars when it comes to the above statement. They wanna try to improve relations, but they certainly didn't show it with bf4.
