No it doesn't, the original vita actually had an upscaler like the vita tv, but they took it out due to because they didn't use it in the old model and made the vita tv. http://www.dualshockers.com...
No he's blaming the lack of personal at the time to make new hd titles. With their jump to hd they had to have more texture artist, engine writers, animation experts, etc. Granted Nintendo should have been prepared personal wise, but he isn't blaming a weaker console.
No a technological leap require bigger teams to make them due to the leap to hd quality graphics.
They did? nintendo's just adjusting to the hd era. Even Naughty dog said it was scary to develop for their first hd titles, square enix suffered as well. There are numerous examples of companies having issues moving to hd tech wise. I'd think nintendo would have prepared with past knowledge of all these events, but obviously not.
Writing the sdk takes less people than developing on it, you have animator, texture artist, lighting artist, and many others. I don't think nintendo was prepared with how many people they had working on a game. Plus with greater graphics there are more glitches which is something nintendo has delayed for in the past.
I can see your worries, but nintendo has been doing it for ages. It's brought us some really fun games like wario land shake it, yarn kirby, excite truck/bots, dk king of swing (plus it's sequels), f-zero gx, Luigi mansion 2, punch out (wii) and many others. It's a risk, but it think nintendo is smart enough to watch their ips well
They aren't talking about have the same architecture as their last system, but have a handheld and a console with the same architecture so they'd be more interactive. Much like sony are doing with shared engines across the ps3/vita except at a hardware level rather then sony's software level.
I suppose that's alright i've always wanted their handhelds to be more interactive with their consoles. It's something they've tried in the past, but it will be nice to see it developed with it in mind.
They did it during the game cube era as well. I always picked up ea sport games to play as mario and friends.
This isn't new info, they said it was to save battery life since the gamepad won't have to process new frames. Personally i'd like to have some info on the screen to clear up the screen, but I'll have to try to see if it actually does increase battery life.
Well I guess they had a PSP game in2010 which I enjoyed a bit not as much as the original trilogy.
I'll be honest i expected this game to disappoint me based on the first trailer, but to say it's the final game disappointed me would be a lie. It's honestly the closest to a 3d 2d mario game we've had. The sheer amount of variety this game had was amazing and i'd say other than basic gameplay (which has been in every 3d mario game) it's almost a completely different game than 3d land.
If you're judging by a games sales, call of duty must be a freaking golden egg to you. It's a great game and one of my favorite mario games.
@etseix, It's too expensive to do it inhouse or at all. The game used 2d graphics which will be too expensive to make, it's the same reason we'll probably never see ff7 remake.
The pad isn't a gimmick really, it adds to the experience and tbh most games only use the buttons (that are literately the same as most controller) with the touch screen limited to inventory, menu, etc. It's not a gimmick it helped me enjoy darksiders II because of the inventory stuff.
Blue Point has done well upconverting games, now i wonder how they'll do downconverting games. I think they'll do well since source is so good at transfering between weaker and stronger hardware.
Its probably one of many studios working on it. Tends to happen with a lot of ubisoft games.
Please be a new unreal tournament game :)
Loving mine, also came with 2 other sleeves which are nice as well. If there is anybody interested in animal crossing there is also a 3ds case with and animal crossing them on club nintendo
People said that about pikmin 3 and zelda? I don't recall that at all, in fact people were surprised when it did sell systems in japn.
