With a statement like that, I would love to see El Jugador's Xbox LIVE gamertag. Haha....

Microsoft lost $1.2 million?! Wow, that's pretty much the equivalent of you or me losing $0.42! At least before they revoke all the points and ban the accounts that acquired them.

LOL, yeah, and Uncharted 4 on 360!

Dream on.

Owning a 360, PS3, and Wii, I can say without a doubt that I will be buying far more games for my 360 in 2011 than the other two consoles, and I will be buying more games this year than probably any previous year. Gears of War 3 is definitely my most anticipated game of the year on any console. I buy all my multiplatform games for the 360 to get the superior version and play with my friends, the majority of them being on LIVE, and there are TONS of multiplatform games I want this year (Skyrim...

Wrong. San Andreas is the fictional state that includes the three cities of Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Fierro (San Francisco), and Las Venturas (Las Vegas). Los Angeles alone is Los Santos in the GTA universe.

Give me a break! Obviously, GTA is a huge priority over Agent. It's been nearly three years since we had a new console GTA and work on the next GTA started a month after GTA IV's release. Agent will be a looong way off. I believe they will announce GTA V soon after L.A. Noire's release. They don't want to steal the spotlight from that game now, but E3 sounds like the perfect place to announce the next GTA, hopefully for an early 2012 release.

So what are we going by now to judge quality; sales or reviews? It seems to keep flopping back and forth. You can't just change it every time to suit the specific game you're talking about.

Title / Metascore / Sales

Gran Turismo 5 / 84 / 5.64m
Forza Motorsport 3 / 92 / 4.77m

If we go by reviews, then FM3 is better. If we go by sales, GT5 is better.

Halo 3: ODST / 83 / 5.86m
Uncharted 2 / 96 / 4.46m

I don't even know how they can argue that KZ is such a great franchise anymore, with KZ3's 85 on Metacritic. It just goes to show that the last game's scores were inflated by all the hype around the graphics. They're not as impressive compared to the compeitition anymore this time around, and the scores reflect that. Killzone is absolutely NOT an AAA franchise.

But CliffyB is smart checking in on what the competition's doing, nonetheless. Gears of War 3 is...

That's funny, because a comment like that ("OMG XBOX SUKZ ASS") would likely get more Agrees than Disagrees here. It just goes to show how backwards this place is.

GTA will NEVER have a character creator for the main plot. That would make for a really lame experience. Imagine if past GTA's had a character creator. It would have been pretty ridiculous to play San Andreas as a skinny white guy or GTA IV as a fat mexican dude with a British accent. That's the kind of absurdity you get in a game like Saints Row and that's what makes it such a shallow experience.

A character creator would completely ruin the plot and would automa...

GOTY worthy? LMAO! Saints Row is the video game industry's equivalent of a "straight to DVD movie". Thumbs down to the extremely low presentation values.

It sold approximately 500,000 units so far, so that averages out to about 200 kills per player.

Killzone 2 Week 1: 750,000
Killzone 3 Week 1: 500,000

That's pretty awful considering the PS3 install base is now nearly 30 million units larger than it was back at the time of Killzone 2's release. A big exclusive FPS game like this is expected to sell much better.

This could pretty much be seen coming though. It wasn't getting nearly as much hype as its predecessor, and Killzone 2 really stood out in the graphics department, while more P...

Congratulations to Sony for a 4 million Move install base after 6 months.
Congratulations to Microsoft for an 8 million Kinect install base after 60 days.

Congratulations to everyone!

With their $500 million marketing, they boasted about how they expected to sell 5 million units by the end of the year. They ended up selling 8 million units. They must be pretty damn pleased, especially with Kinect earning the title of "the fastest selling consumer electronics device of all-time". So if Kinect is overpriced, yet it's still breaking sales records, it must be pretty damn CRAZY successful!

It was definitely not a typo and that is very clearly a lie to cover it up. The guy is not credited anywhere for GTA IV, while he is listed in the credits for every other game he has on his resume.

Now take a look at this. In addition to his newest resume from mid 2010, an older copy of his resume from early 2010 has been uncovered:

His new resume has since been changed, but it originally included listings for GTA V, RDR, and L.A. Noire.

Now ...
