You can be a fan of Nintendo's software, and absolutely hate their hardware and business-model.
Nintendo's games are amazing, no question about it.
Their hardware has mostly been gimmick-based, under-powered, and over-priced. This certainly hurts their appeal to core-gamers, and in some cases, forcing those gimmicks into games that really don't need it, hurts the quality of those games (Motion controls in Zelda, Mario Galaxy, etc etc).
Out of these 5 games, only Cyberpunk 2077 will be a Day 1 for me, mostly because I trust and respect the devs to deliver a great game, AND they won't nickel & dime me post-launch.
Anthem looks bland, Days Gone seems like a dark zombie game (boringgg), Far Cry could be lots of fun but I haven't even finished 5 yet (halfway through), and the presentation for Metro looked visually impressive, but I'm not big into shooters.
Most 2019 games I...
Looking forward to a new Dirt game, but not sure about the locations chosen.
As with Dirt Rally and Dirt 4, I wish they would have gone for some more exotic locations, instead of focussing on Western Europe and North America (and Australia) once again...
Dirt 2 had China and Malaysia, two of the best tracks/locations in Codemasters' rally history. Would love to see tracks based in South America, Africa, and Asia.
I figured there was some stuff going on behind the scenes (cause I haven't heard from you anymore after winning the Day 2 contest). Hope you're doing okay and all is well.
Congrats to all the (other) winners, and to God of War for winning GOTY. Hope to check it out this year.
Looking forward to what's coming in 2019 and beyond.
Only until your 18 orso. I was (quite obviously) talking about tuition fees beyond that, which have become extremely high in the UK.
NHS is (still) 'free', but Tories have been doing everything in their power to hollow it out in order to get it to fail so they'll have an excudr to sell it off to the private sector.
They have some nerve, asking this so-called 'me-me-me generation' (no affordable housing, no affordable education, and on the verge of losing affordable healthcare and having to deal with the concequences of THEIR Brexit-mess), to join THEIR army, in order to fight THEIR illegals wars/conflicts, for THEIR corporate gains...
Sickening.
I'd rather see a Sonic Mania 2, TBH.
I had the Dreamcast, but never thought Sonic Adventure was anything special...
It looked amazing at the time of course, especially the part with the huge orca, but I just didn't enoy the gameplay....
Cool. Really hoping they'll announce releasing the Japanese voices for the PS4 release as well. If not, I'll probably buy it on Switch.
Always Online, DLC greed, MTs, etc etc. The usual suspects.
Always seemed like a great game to me. At the time, ome of the main criticisms thrown at it was that it was just more of the same, instead of a new big innovative step which we've seen between the main (Rocksteady) Arkham games.
To me, that was never going to be a deal-breaker. I didn't mind 'more of the same', and the prospect of playing basically a 'Year One' version of Batman, was enticing.
That said, I never picked it up, never...
Waiting for next-gen before I dive into VR. Looks promising and has lots of potential, but I'm expecting next-gen hardware to truly do it justice.
I'm people, and I think it's an amazing game.
Japanese voices and English subs would be my only wish/desire.
Love the XBO X backward compatibility. Just last week I was enjoying SSX3 again last week.
360 had so many great games.
Would you think European gamers would be interested in playing a game of The Simpsons, or South Park, if the original American voice-actors wouldn't be doing the voices, and it would ONLY be playable in German, French, whatever?
Hell, would American players play those games if the original American voice-actors were replaced by different American voice-actors?
No they didn't say such a thing at all. Stop making things up.
MT's were always gonna be part of BF2. People got angry/outraged over how it was implemented, so then they made changes to it.
Not everyone grew up in a country where they rip out the original language and replace it with a local dub.
So many of us prefer their entertainment in the original language, regardless where it's from. Which means watching Korean movies in Korean, French movies in French, etc etc.
Yeah, I do know that. I also know the soundtrack is MIDI, and they changed the characters' names for no reason at all. Which meant that with all the amazing games still in my backlog, I decided that although the game seems amazing (story, characters, world, visually, gameplay), I would skip it for now.
Hearing (well, reading) that they might add Japanese voice-acting means it's back on my radar, and will be a Day 1 purchase on Switch, or if they add it to the PS4 ve...
Skipped this game because of lack of Japanese voices (no interest in playing this with the English dub), and wasn't keen on playing it 'muted' (just the sounds and music), so adding Japanese voices would mean I'd immediately pick it up... (Regardless of system).
Game seems great.
I really enjoyed this on PSP. Sadly, the re-release on XBLA had less content than the PSP version.
