Return to Gotham (Arkhum Asylum, Arkham City) does have XBO X enhanced.
Which is why it's weird how Knight still hasn't, and even on the X, it supposedly looks & runs worse than on the standard PS4.
It's a real shame they haven't given Arkham Knight an XBO X enhanced update yet.
Hollow Knight would have deserved a mention.
Super Mario World is amazing as well.
Kids also used to play challenging games, and it's what made them feel proud and accomplished whenever they progressed through those games.
Looks really good, and always liked the concept/setting of Samurai Shodown, but TBH I rarely buy fighters anymore unless there's a complete edition including all DLC, cause all the DLC/Season Pass greed in this genre is far beyond acceptable.
SoulCalibur, Tekken, DOA6, Dragon Ball FighterZ, etc etc ... They all release a pretty bare-bones base-game, and immediatelt come out with all the extra characters.
This is how you do 'games as a service'; you release a game, you do the updates for free, and your game keeps selling, and your fans keep returning and playing.
Absolutely ridiculous decision once again.
Extremely disappointing, and a good reason to not pick up the game, when it's censored, thus incomplete/butchered.
What I hope; Sonic Mania 2
What I fear; Another poor attempt at a 3D Sonic Game.
I wouldn't be surprised if they do remakes/reboots for the first 2 games for next-gen.
That will depend on how it's implemented of course: If it ads, detracts or does absolutely nothing to your game-experience.
More realistic hair is obviously mostly just eye-candy, which would certainly be appreciated, but it won't affect gameplay.
But more realistic AI, like birds reacting to the wind, or you as a player being able to use wind-currents and water-currents to fly/float around, or playing a sports game outside and seeing the wind int...
It just looks like an empty experience to me. Perhaps they haven't done a good enough message about what and why it is you do what you do in Anthem, but from the outside, it's just a hub-world, where you fly out into and do a few missions, and return, with loot, and that's basically it. I don't really see any kind of meaningful story or progress there, that appeals to me as a gamer.
And true, there might be more games like that, which appeal to certain game...
One of the more exciting features in gaming I'm looking forward to in gaming, is improved physics, like realistic hair, the wind actually realistically affecting the surface and flow of water, etc etc. Combine that with more realistic and self-thinking AI, like how birds react to different wind speeds and streams, and you'd potentially be looking at some pretty special stuff, 5-10 years orso from now...
Sony's ridiculous and completely unnecessary censorship strikes once again.
Disappointing.
Hate the self-censorship, and hate the DLC-greed even more.
Started this game a few weeks ago, only playing when I have a bit of time, so still very early in and no clue what I'm supposed to be doing or where I need to be going, but enjoying it very much so far. Great game.
Well, sadly, another reason to choose the XBO version over the PS4 version these days, is Sony's releases now getting censored. Most recent example is of course the ridiculous censorship in DMC5.
Would be really nice if N4G would send me the copy I supposedly won in their December contest (Day 2), but Christopher has sadly gone completely quiet when it comes to responding to PM's concerning this matter.
You mock, but it's beyond ridiculous that games on PS4 are now getting censored, and if I had bought the game for that system, and would now find out it was a butchered release, I'd return it to the store and demand my money back, and buy it on XBO instead...
Sony needs to stop with this new conservative censorship BS. America's selective outrage when it comes to T&A, compared to embracing ridiculous amounts of extreme violence, is just ridiculous.
Switch wouldn't be able to handle it how it currently looks and plays, so if they're going to do a Switch release, they should obviously keep the gameplay, but perhaps go for a shell-shaded style, which would still look amazing, but would be a lot less demanding on CPU/GPU...
It's been extremely disappointing to me to see how Sony has treated Driveclub, and the studio behind it, these past couple of years.
IMO, it's one of my favourite games this gen, one of my favourite racing games EVER, and one of the best exclusives this generation.
After a less than perfect start, the devs worked hard and really achieved some absolutely amazing things with this game, and it's just straight pure quality all around, with amazing...
