Virtual killing in games; harmless.
Virtual weed smoking in games; NO! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!
Tried the free demo (twice, as they also offered a free demo a while ago), and really just aren't impressed with it.
The visual design builds and slightly improves on SF4, but personally I've never cared for the ugly faces and bulking bodies. A game like Guilty Gear Revelator looks endlessly better.
And while I'll always have a soft spot for Capcom's old character design, the new characters, apart from maybe Laura and perhaps 1-2 others, h...
@InKnight7s
I think many people left PES in that period, and that's because it just wasn't that good anymore, compared to PES4 & 5. PES really struggled that generation (PS3/XBOX360), and at the same time, FIFA had really improved and simply was the better game on the market (FIFA08 until (roughly) FIFA15 were simply better games than PES).
These past few years though, FIFA has really stalled, while PES has gone back to form. PES2017,18, 19 we...
PES has the better gameplay and graphics, but everything else, including brand-recognition, licensing, content and marketing, still falls heavily in favor of FIFA. Both series have been good these past few years though, with personal preferences determining which someone will buy.
If you're on PS4 or PC, you can simply download and install an Option File, and you'll have the Bundesliga, along with all the other big official leagues you would want.
The game always seemed nice to me. I don't like the whole idea of exclusivity, so I can understand fans' anger when those who were excited about this game would be pushed to Epic's store if they'd want to buy it.
Obviously, there shouldn't be any actual threats made over decisions like these, but surely they would have expected a negative reaction ...
Game still looks nice, and if it gets good reviews I'll probably pick it up for X...
Would love to see Snake in that new gorgeous Guilty Gear game though.
Anyway, fighting games are mostly dead to me. The release incomplete games at full retail price, followed by seasons of DLC greed with extra characters.
Haven't picked up SF5 because of the DLC.
Haven't picked up Tekken because of the DLC.
haven't picked up SoulCalibur because of the DLC.
Picked up some other fighting games, but only once...
The potential an AC set in China has, is absolutely huge. I really hope they'd go all out on being able to learn and expand numerous different forms of kung fu, and weapons, in a true RPG-style manner. So having your character learning.using monkey kung fu, would obviously feel and look totally different from a character who uses Hung Gar. You'd also have many different weapon styles.
There's also stealth elements, night curfews, gorgeous varied locations obviou...
No Scalebound on this list seems like a weird omission.
The potential of HOME is huge.
The execution of HOME, on PS3, was absolutely terrible. Bland avatars, bland environments, boring content, long loading times, just a waste.
They should get the developers of Everybody's Golf to do it; colorful cartoony world, and just include a golf course, tennis courts, carts, beach volleyball, archery, perhaps basketball and/or football, etc etc.
They already have a fantastic character-creator in E...
" Scalebound was going well over budget, and the developers didn't seem to have an idea how long it was going to take. Either they put most of their resources on Nier, or they really weren't capable of making a game with such large scale combat. "
That's not really the whole story though.
The developers of Scalebound wanted to make a cool game. Microsoft wanted Scalebound to be a completely different game, so they kept pressuring th...
@Purple; My Phat 360 is still working. Didn't expect it either, after all the issues that 360 model had.
Thst's really not what I want to hear about PS5.
Switch is an underpowered console with a gimmick (hybrid), the other is a subscription stream service.
I just want PS5 to have powerful and good quality hardware (and obviously amazing games).
Time to check out this game ...
Will it come with an adblocker built-in?
Will probably pick up Trials Rising Gold, and -might- pick up Playgrounds 2.
Loved Aisha. She did fine.
It will be a Day 1 for me on next-gen. Really can't wait to dive in, but I know I'll get the PS5 and/or next Xbox, and this will be one of those games I really want to play on such a new system on day 1 , if possible ...
Haven't really played GoW yet (backloggggg), but the 30 minutes orso I did play, impressed me.
Did play and finish both RDR2 and Spider-Man, and liking both, I feel RDR2 was a far superior EXPERIENCE, while having a few shortcomings as a videogame (it was a bit too linear in terms of story, so while it's a gorgeous sandbox with lots to do, you don't have actual freedom of choices that really changes the experience, in terms of the story getting from A to B. And ...
HEAVY -anything- use is harmful in some way or another.
Common sense is still a personal responsibility.
