GTA had the mature serious story, the great production-values, the euphoria-engine, a memorable lead and characters etc. GTA4 is like a classic masterpiece movie, and you're in it.
Saints Row 2 has the gameplay, the variety, the FUN, the freedom, the comedy, etc etc. If you just wanna entertain yourself for 20 minutes doing whatever you want, creating lots of chaos, Saints Row 2 is the place to be.

Every great game has flaws. So what. My girlfriend also has flaws, but I still rate her a 10. She's fantastic, and to score her less would be untrue to my feelings for her. But she isnt 'perfect'. Nothing is. No-one is. Not even reviewers.
... first of all, I'm not saying the ability to kill kids and elderly people and disabled people etc in a game, would be FUN, or SHOULD be fun. I CAN be fun, for some I guess, but that's not the argument why I think it should be in the game.

That's what's so 'annoying'. For all the flaws and lazyness that are evident in PES, it just keeps luring you back. It's like digital crack or something.

When I play a game set in a large city, I expect to see people of all ages and all walks of life. The game looks very interesting, but with so many great games coming out, this would be the kinda game that you would wait 6 months with buying, untill it's 30 bucks. A great-value Casino Royale bundle would make it a whole lot more attactive to buy it for the holidays.
... but for anyone that has a pretty new, up-to-date PC, it works pretty damn good. I thought XP was excellent when I used it for many years (cant remember it crashing EVER), and Vista (although it has it's annoyances) is even better.
Ofcourse it's overpriced, and I would prefer a free opensource OS that will run all my programs and hardware without problems, but until that day comes, I'll stick with Vista for the time being.

... I never owned it, but when I had a sleep-over at my nephews house, we rented it and played it. We always finished those games as well.
I also liked a bunch of those other Disney platformers at the time: Fantasia, Mickey and Donald, Aladdin, etc...
When you play them now though, they're just too slow and simple etc. Not ALL platformers, but these ones are.
Also nowhere near as good as Mario, Sonic, or even Tiny Toon Adventures, or Superfrog on ...
... it's just mindbogling that developers really cant seem to make a great spider-man game, while the license in it self gives you all the tools to do so.
Sadly, developers depend on the name alone too much, and try to make a quick easy buck by chruning out yet another uninspired crappy game, that hardly pushes the hardware, nor have ANY originality.
... these are copies with the 'controversial' (!) music in it, so they will be extremely rare in a few years. If you have one, and it's still sealed, you should really keep it sealed and sit on it for 10-20 years, and surely some collector will pay HUGE money for it.
