Especially in MP games it's pretty damn nice and important if anyone can have the same content etc.
Plus I know that with Rallisport Challenge 2, and now with Burnout Paradise, the extra value that the FREE DLC had/has, really meant ALOT to many MANY players. It shows the developers care for their product, and for those who bought it, and releasing some extra content for free just adds to these games.
MOST DLC is really overpriced, and...
... just look at the Forza 2 DLC for instance. People who buy the platinum Forza 2 for 30 bucks get all the extra DLC for free thrown in, while everyone who bought the game at full-price and thus supported that game from the beginning, are still asked to pay EXTRA money for the DLC(!)
DLC is really ruining gaming :(
... if they'd make all the existing DLC 'FREE'.
That's pretty much the only reason why I havent bought the game yet: waiting for the DLC to become free.
Would definately buy it for my girlfriend and probably would enjoy it myself as well...

Microsoft needs to stop ripping of their european customers and start bringing the price down for their Elite, or at the very least offer a MUCH better bundle.

I used to play it on my neighbour's Megadrive, who had bought the game in Hong Kong. It didnt come with an english title on the front or in the menu (I think), so I never knew the name. Definately one of the most fun 16-bit platformers of all time!
... these games (the dutch versions at least) will never ever make it into my house.
This decision by Microsoft should get the nomination for one of the dumbest marketing-decisions in gaming this year.
... I'm a huge cartoon lover, but cartoons on dutch tv nowadays are mostly dubbed (and crappy as well), so not worth watching.
I didnt even like dubbing when I was a kid myself. I always used to watch Sky Channel and Super Channel, with the DJ Kat Show and Fun Factory etc.
... Most dutch gamers speak perfect english, and dont even WANT crappy dutch dubbing!
I know I sure as hell dont, nor do I know anyone who does.
I sure hope the game comes with a warning-label on the front so people will know what they're buying, or else you'll see many people returning their 'dutch-only' copy back to the store.

... I have a softspot for Street Fighter, the characters, etc... but I cant say I'm overly impressed by what I've seen so far from this game. the new characters are all pretty so-so, the graphics aint that great, and the gameplay seems pretty much the same as always.
Maybe they should have gone cell-shaded anime-style, like the new PS3 Naruto game.

Why not just fix the problem once and for all!? Just replace the normal controller with this better version!
