You could always buy Forza, NBA 2K14 or lococycle as they are all native 1080p. May I also point out the BF4 is not running in native 1080p on the PS4 even though it is the 'most powerful console ever made'

What you are saying is half true. Yes, voice commands have been possible for a long time and have been incorporated into games before the kinect sensor was developed. The difference is that the voice recognition software/library is built into the device which means a studio doesn't have to develop their own or license someone elses. They just need to opt in to use it.

If you're a mute I'd say kinect voice commands probably all that appealing to you.

Look like DICE may be the first studio to do something intriguing with the Kinect sensor. I think a lot of people will change their tune pretty quickly if this stuff works out

Seems like they would have mentioned it if that was the case. I have had absolutely zero experience with the new PSeye but if I had to guess I would say it doesn't achieve the same results the new kinect will

Considering DICE is using Direct X and the XB1 supports direct x11.2 would it really surprise that many people if the Xbox version looks better? I know I won't be. Also the comparison you guys through around between the PS4 specs and the XB1 specs are so overblown. The guts of the consoles are very similar. Respawn has confirmed 60fps and also have stated they will not compromise on this. They have been tight lipped about the resolution so 720 wouldn't surprise me

a camera and a thumbstick... I guess an omni directional treadmill would be able to pull it off. Pairing that with oculus, you've got a pretty decent VR setup I would imagine. Using Kinect as a controller supplement instead of a controller replacement is a great idea.
