Perhaps he has a terminal illness?
Does SaiyanKnight87? Can you confirm that he actually has a contact at Sony? I personally am a little skeptical of any author that won't use his real name.
I too am skeptical of websites written my people with names like "SaiyanKnight87"
Glad I got you on here because your articles title suggests that DLNA support will be added, but the actual body of the article indicates otherwise. This is by far the most important functionality for me, so what gives?
Sure it was quick but the article does not make any mention of DLNA support. (except for the title of course)
Great for the quick turn around but this article makes no mention of DLNA support being added which is the only thing that really matters to me.
From my understanding of Sony's viacom deal it is very similar to the deals that MS already has in place with several content providers worldwide. If it is just provided VOD for viacom programming there isn't anything groundbreaking here it is literally exactly what the 360 has been doing and expanding on for the past 2 years but if I'm wrong please correct me. I've searched for more details on this deal but have come up with nothing. And just so you're aware, xbox boug...
I hear this argument all the time but it isn't valid. Of course a PC could do everything the XB1 could do but it would take some serious customization, hell you might even have to write your own software. Consoles will never compete with PC's on a raw performance level. It just isn't possible at their price point, so what they lack in power they make up by providing a unique experience.
As a future XB1 owner, I plan to buy everything digitally in the future. You guys are living in the past... pre-ordering games like they're going to sell out or something. smh
Titanfall is just using it for dedicated servers (mind you if it doesn't work out it is going to be trouble for MS) As far as actually off loading physics or lighting etc... I'd say HALO is the most likely to take advantage of that as MS is willing to throw as much money as necessary at a project to prove their point.
Looks like your 'next-gen' PS4 can't run BF4 at 1080p either so I'd slow your role fanboy. These are launch titles people and we should be treating them as such. Devs had literally just gotten their hands on these brand new dev tools.
I'm in the Xbox camp but the MP combat doesn't impress me very much. It might be fun, but it doesn't look great. The campaign footage I've seen looks much more appealing
For all of you out there waiting to see if MS will confirm that they support DLNA, they do. They showed off a live demonstration at MS build conference where they streamed a video to the XB1 and it worked instantaneously
It shouldn't have to be discussed. MP3 playback support and DLNA compliance are a standard for all media devices released today. The fact that Sony pulled this absolutely baffles me
I can't believe how many people on this site are defending this decision. Yeah sure its a game console so the media functionality takes the back seat, but its also the next iteration of the Playstation. I would expect this console to evolve not regress. When you strip away features that I literally use every single day, your priorities are seriously warped. This is no joke, I've cancelled my PS pre-order. I see no reason to own one right now, maybe when naughtydog has something o...
I get disagrees on n4g for saying something positive about a MS rep. How shocking! /s
I believe the 'feeling' you get about them not caring about Sony exclusives are soley based on your own biases.
Its funny that you say that because I'm sure he does. It is no secret that people who work for xbox play ever console under the sun. Makes it much easier to evaluate their own strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony did the same. Nintendo on the other hand seems like they are living in their own universe
Phil's always been like this. Class act all the way.
I'd say thats pretty realistic and really underwhelming. I hope Sony brings more to the table than this
