Only negative...it's on rails. I find it interesting that games created with kids in mind on Sony platforms (ease of control, cartoony characters, "easy" gameplay) get scores like this, but "Once Upon A Monster" for Kinect get "ZOMG, Double Fine!!!". It doesn't get reviewed, Double Fine does. This game is solid and fun as all hell. Really, a well done, pick up and play game any kid would enjoy...but b/c it's from Sony...6/10. Definitely give it a try....
Absolutely! They have stable of characters across 3 generations, that frankly, I'd be disappointed if some weren't included (MediEvil JUMPS to mind). If they also include characters from the 3rd party games, like in the Michael ad, this could be one epic game. Issac from Dead Space, Ezio from Assassin's (isn't he in next Soul Caliber?)...imagine Kain from Legacy of Kain (if included). The potential alone is worth Sony giving it a try.
Why is it, anytime Sony does something, it's questioned?
Is HDMI a good thing? (360 standardizes HDMI on all consoles)
Is 3D a good thing? (Every major motion picture studio is releasing 3D movies)
Are motion controls a good thing? (The success of the Wii ignored)
Is blu-ray a good thing? (single disc games and it killed HDDVD)
Of course a Sony Smash Bros. is a good idea. Great fan service, they have the studios to make it stunnin...
Well...that was damned creepy.
Should totally be expected, even if it's funny.
I have 2 PS3s as well (family room & bedroom, Wii in the den) and it's great. There really is no point in having a console you won't play.
@gamingdroid
What's the point in owning all 3 consoles, when you only play the 360? I'd rather own 2 of the same console I will play, than 2 I won't.
Who cares about numbers, give me games. And they're doing that.
I hate when people who haven't played games act as if they have an opinion that matters on said games. That is LAME.
I wonder if this game will include 3rd party characters as well as 1st, like the Michael commercial?
Agreed. Move works so well with FPSs, I cannot wait for Bioshock Infinite. I wish they'd retroactively patch as many FPSs as they could. I'd love to play COD or BF3 or even R2 or Singularity wih Move. It truly is a great control method for 1st person and as infamous 2 proves, 3rd person. I think it works better than Socom 4.
Many PS3 owners have games like RE5 Gold, Heavy Rain, MAG, R3, infamous2, Killzone 3, LBP2, etc. and may not own Move. $99 to dip your toe in motion controls and get an additional game (regardless of your subjective opinion of it being mediorce) is, as Logicwins eluded to, is a value.
PS Vita + PS3 + Remote Play = What I was hoping for with PSP Remote Play.
Odd list. No Odin Sphere. No God of War. No mark of Kri. No Sly. No Okami. No Ico. No Jak. No Ratchet. Splinter Cell makes the list?! That was a great Xbox game, one of the reasons I bought an Xbox (that and Ninja Gaiden). To each their own, but the PS2 is one of the best consoles of all time and has way more than 20 "games of all time".
@firelogic
Good call on DMC! DMC3 (the Japanese version) was so ridiculously difficult, I thought about breaking the disc...
Is Uncharted really perceived as a movie, or is it just compared to a movie (mainly due to its awesome presentation)? I think Hirshberg has a point. COD's more recent campaigns have been like big budget movies, but simply get hated on for being COD. No manner of marketing will change that. Great success can be a bitch.
This UI looks like a good fit for Move and easy enough to maneuver with an analog stick. I wouldn't be shocked if they updated the PS3 XMB to this or something similar to have a seamless experience between devices.
191 words. This is an acceptable article on N4G, 191 words?
Sorry enfestid, that's no different than what Kinect currently does with voice. "Dum Dums", as Jocosta pointed out, think Kinect has a CPU...it doesn't. You apparently think it has some voice recognition outside what it already does...it doesn't. Rainbow Six on the Xbox1 was using voice commands (without Kinect!). The only reason it's in ME3 is to manufacture the idea "this can only be done with Kinect"...it can be done with simple mics. Software does the h...
Sorry Dusdg, but Kinect doesn't have a CPU, it was removed prior to launch. All the processing is handled by the 360. Swing and a miss!

Ubisoft, one of the leading devs supporting Kinect, says this and watch...fanboys will still ignore the facts.
A great article if you like self-entitled drivel.
