There is no way Activision is worried by BF3.
First - I'm black. Second - Both the professions I listed are DOMINATED by blacks, similar to how the games industry is dominated by whites. Don't let jumping the gun get to your head.
How do you know they willingly choose to just play games? There are socioeconomic factors, education and access to education factors, as well as the hiring practices within the industry. Why aren't more white people professional basketball or football players? Rappers? It's more than just "they willingly choose not to" imho.
I never played SR2 and SR3 looks completely insane. Great incentive to purchase imo.
Actually, it amounts to Saints Row 2 for free - http://blog.us.playstation....
@pangitkqb
There's another side to that coin. Those who aren't enjoying the game. Not b/c it's fantasy or an RPG, but b/c it's buggy and detracts from the fun to be had. It's very true Bethesda doesn't HAVE to make games and I don't HAVE to buy them, but if they are and I do, you damned sure better believe I'll speak on the positives and the negatives. I didn't make the game buggy, they did. I didn't release it before QA could squash the bugs, t...

@slayorofgods
I don't think they don't care. I think they know they are given a pass and will continue to release games now, patch later.
@lifesanrpg
The same can be said for BF3.
@Hicken
If you were paying attention, you'd see MW3 shit all over BF3. It's that simple. Kertz comments are pointless, particularly when BF3 can't even topple Blops on Live.
Also, aren't fans people who play? Trying to separate the two is as pointless as Kertz comments.
It's maintenance, not the CDC countdown clock in The Walking Dead.
"Exactly what the majority of BF and CoD fans think..."
Really? It seems like the opposite as MW3 ate BF3's breakfast, lunch and dinner in terms of sales. You don't sell as much as MW3 has if people haven't enjoyed MP since MW1.
At least 8 of them can be played by everyone :)
Only 2 exclusives listed - Uncharted 3 and Zelda. Overall, it's a pretty solid list of games.
IndustryGamers interviewed him and he shared his opinion. He didn't call anyone out, just the attitude of game design that pisses him off. I appreciate his candor.
Bethesda will always release buggy, semi-broken games. They have no reason not to. It's not like their sales suffer.
That's a hell of a deal.
Influenced my life? I can say with the utmost sincerity...Nope.
I thought Sega and the Dreamcast brought online gaming to consoles. Oh well.
As the video shows, there is nothing instant about saying "grenade" and its execution. From what I watched, there is no usability. I'm not talking about people trying to sabotage games. If I'm playing and a buddy asks me "How many grenades you have?", I don't want the game to throw one. That's exactly what would happen (and did) with how it has been implemented.
That's looking at it with rose tinted glasses man. Has nothing to do with accuracy, everything to do with shoddy implementation. The dash uses two word phrases for a reason - Xbox Play, Xbox Next, so it doesn't respond to everything. Saying Xbox simply gets your 360's attention, it doesn't act until the next phrase is spoken. By not doing the same with reload and grenade, at any point in the game, you can get screwed by other people in the room.
I'll say it again...There's no way Activision is concerned with BF3.
