No multi-player? No problem. I can't wait for this damn game!!
When I see a movie is coming out from the Nolan Bros., I think - "Oh shit!". When I see a game is being developed by Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Kojima Productions, Rocksteady, etc., I think - "Oh shit!". It's completely reasonable to be excited for something created by someone with a track record like Naughty Dog. Add in the trailer and it's a no brainer. Don't be mad.
You too? :) Like Prcko said, when Joel cocks the gun and makes that "Oh shit! That was too loud!" face...day one.
The only motion controller bridging the gap between core and casual?
My personal "Best Shooter of 2011" is Resistance 3.
I thought the same about Skyrim's win. Of course, the only reason I tuned in was for The Last of Us. Fortnite was a nice bonus though.
From what I've seen of his work in BioShock Infinite and Batman (I had no idea he was Two-Face), this adds to my excitement for The Last of Us. Naughty Dog sure knows what they hell they're doing. Great pick for the lead imo.
Fine by me. I loved Enslaved.
I don't think Naughty Dog has a B team.
Playing the main story of Skyrim and nothing else is linear. And just as satisfying. You may miss out on little things here or there, but the story of Skyrim that the devs wanted told, you'd be able to experience.
It's not a movie either Einstein.
It'll flow alright, but with the help of a little blue pill. This isn't a Metal Gear game to me. This is some crazy spin-off like Joey from Friends that just pisses you off.
I don't get it either Thom. At the end of 4, there was no fight left. Now...BAM! He's suplexing mechs like something out of Bayonetta and wearing a mock eye patch. Saddening.
BulletStorm sold like crap in general (that means both platforms). My money is on Fortnite being a multi DL title.
I'm confused...people here circle jerk over Alan Wake, the definition of linear, but this somehow can't be? Okay ;)
Yes, I submitted the story. It's pending :)
I want to give them my $60 NOW.
Nothing wrong with linear. The characters, story, gameplay matter...nothing else.
Don't know where the Ellen Paige rumor started (character model?), but the voice was obviously not her. Regardless, this is my most anticipated game for 2012. The pedigree of Naughty Dog is enough for me to happily fork over $60. Glad to see a new IP!
I look fwd to ignoring every bit of information for this game as its release gets closer and closer. No way am I letting anyone spoil this for me.
