LAIR was a victim of Sony hate. Anyone who has actually played it knows it is a good (at times great) game. Sixaxis only controls shouldn't have been demonized by the press the way it was. At the same time, the option (from jump) to play with the DS3 should have been there too.

Yes, the PS3 will have to be on. Of course, you can turn your PS3 on/off with a PSP and Remote Play. Regardless, it's streaming the game from the PS3 to the Vita.

And MS avoided making all Xbox games BC so they could sell you digital versions on Games on Demand. Other OS is a soapbox used by people who never used the feature, but want something to bitch about. The 360 emulated BC for a select group of titles, none of which anyone plays or bitches about not being able to play. Why? They're playing 360 games, like PS3 owners are playing PS3 games. USB ports is a non issue when any USB hub off the shelf works.

That's why there's gaming consoles, PCs, smartphones and portables to categorize. Excluding the Wii is only to have the 360 look as though it is some dominating force in North America...it isn't. Out of the 3 (and only 3) major home consoles the Wii leads, period. Globally the Wii leads. Globally, second place is up in the air with a 2 million (once 10 million) console gap between the 360 and PS3. The PS3 will likely take 2nd, with the 360 taking 2nd in the North America.
