I think you are spot on. With Wii controls being one of the main forms of control (I think it only comes with and can have connected 1 Wii U tablet, I could be wrong), $350 for what they've shown seems very reasonable.
After being bent over by hackers and STILL being able to rebound...that says something. Add their games and free access to apps in the mix and it's truly great system. Not THE greatest, but great nonetheless. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys games. All games.
You think the steering is stiff? I never really noticed. I usually play racers with the D-pad, but have been using the analog stick with zero problems. What I did notice was the Move support patched in...that has yet to do anything.

I got this when Best Buy was slangin' it for $4.99. An absolute blast. Completely underrated, but understandable considering its release/delay and the Japan earthquake.

Required or optional, it doesn't take away from the fact that there ARE Move games available, a great deal of which are core games.
Eye of the beholder. A ton of great games were shared between 360 and PS3 in terms of 3rd party. PS3 had the better 1st party lineup imo. Wii had...Zelda.
I can't stand to look at PSOne games running on my 65in 3D set. Same goes for PS2. Bygones.
I really don't want to play PS1 or PS2 games on a PS4. PS3 games, sure, but ya gotta cut the cord eventually.

PSN outage did suck, but I wasn't out a dime (as damn near everyone else). And got a more secure network, free games and 6 months tacked onto my PS+ membership. Someone bring that shit down again!
I think it's worth getting. The support will go into at least 2015 and there's the back catalog of games, bluray support and free access to Netlix, Vudu, YouTube via the browser, Crackle.com...
Didn't really need anymore reasons to buy this game, but...I'll take it!
