The PS4 Pro that was talked about before the release of the Vanilla PS4 was a knee jerk reaction to the X. Wow. Also fun fact the Pro and the X are both being outsold buy there vanilla counterparts.
Honestly this games as a service thing need to eat dirt.

@michellelynn0976. It's 2018 cell phones come with online there is no excuse for a gaming company to launch a new system without it.

@darthv72 it's not only the players you have to worry about. Xbox is also going to be implementing things like keyboard and mouse in the future. Along with the fact that they have an elite controller. I'm good.
@AmstradAmiga It's not that simple. Sony went to Microsoft at a time when they were in a do or die situation. They were loosing money as a company. The PS3 was tanking and they didn't know if they could turn it around. Microsoft said no. So now they get the same treatment.

PS has it covered from 1st to 3rd party and hardcore to VR.
Specs wise it's not even close.
