While it's great news, my concern is the 'no microtransactions' - does that mean EA will put an unrealistic sales target on the game? And if it doesn't meet that target they'll deem it a failure, that's my one and only concern.

Killzone, GG do amazing things - Shadowfall was very impressive for its time. I'd even settle for a remake of KZ2. I think HZD2 is a 2nd/3rd year release.
