Phones seem to manage at those exorbitant prices, even getting upgraded every 2 yrs or so. A high price is not ideal but if the tech is there, and it has long legs - it should be fine.

The thing is - games look and play great now, the next consoles need to be a HUGE jump from what we're playing now.

$699Aus - £399UK - €499EU - $499US or there abouts. No matter the cost I'll be grabbing launch night.

Paid WAAAY too much for my PS1/2 as I imported them and PS3 launched at $999 in Aus. Not too keen on that happening again.

Or don't force their customers to purchase a dud peripheral with next to no future. That might help.

Still outsold everything at launch - that's how strong PlayStation is as a brand. It'll be business as usual.

I'm quite comfortable with my stance on certain subjects and companies. Also very happy to be called out if I'm clearly fanning the fanboy flames.

Of course I don't care about your intelligence, you went ahead and did the exact same thing as the article - a shitty little troll comment.

I just called you out.

As of your comment a 4TB SSD in Australia is $1349, can't see it happening - they'll support up to and beyond that size though.

Surely you're old enough to know they'll use inflammatory words to create some no-existent drama. Gaming journalists live by it.

If the game is buggy and a glitch fest it'll get torn to shreds in reviews.

This isn't BETHESDA we're talking about.

'localisation and bug fixes' - fairly standard mate, how is it "that bad", normal for game this size.

They didn't announce much though.

When did Nintendo have the best games? And Sony coming and going up against some of the biggest companies in the world, just hardens their resolve to continually improve.

It's definitely Sony's to lose, but I'm sure they won't. They'll hit the ground running and continue in from this gen.

2609d ago 8 agree4 disagreeView comment

They didn't lose them haha - those games helped PS1/2 for sure. But when they came to other consoles the war was won.

New ips and continuing support loved franchises (Not milking) is what Sony does best.

And they'll continue to do that.

ms once again showing a complete lack of understanding of what consumers want. How can one company be so thick?

I've heard it all know - 'It's emotionally challenging to own a PS4' - that's an amazingly frivolous excuse you've come up with.

With your HUGE backlog of previous gen games, surely owning a PS4 would be the way to go. Just buy the amazing exclusives and you'll have plenty of time to play your treasured backlog.

Troll somewhere else mate - you have no idea what you're talking about.

And you've held onto your x1 all this time? Talk about backing the wrong horse.

Monster Hunter Ratholos Dynamic theme is bloody sweet - best I've seen.
