What's wrong with devs using a third party engine? It's cheap and anyone can use it. You need to wake up and realise that not everyone can afford to spend millions in making an engine.
If you were to open up a new studio right now UE3 would probably be the engine you choose to make your fist game.
Hawken runs on UE3 yet it's probably one of the best looking PC games.

The GTC was a great invent and what they displayed over there was amazing. I'm suprsied the people above still think Sony's potential partner is Onlive when it's basically been confirmed it's going to be GaiKai.
Onlives service isn't as good as GaiKai's and once they upgrade their servers to the GeForce GRID it's going to be 100x's better. Sony must have known about this in advance which explains the partnership between them.

At first I disliked the controller but after reading more into it and seeing more people praise it's functionality and the practicality of having a screen I'm starting to like it more and more.

Getting fired over something so trivial is just ridiculous, these companies take so long revealing new info that's why things like leaks happen.
Why don't they speed things up a bit and announce stuff right now? Sometimes these companies just sit on new game/hardware related info for half a year waiting to show it at E3.
I wouldn't be surprised if half the stuff shown at E3 could have been shown during January/February of this year.
The last time I checked this technology is 200 times more accurate.

Hopefully they show Agent, FFvs13 and a KZ4 tech demo for the PS4. I'm hoping they also announce an Ultra-slim PS3, I've had my 60GB launch model since Oct 2007 and I don't play PS2 games any more so I definitely wouldn't mind selling it for a more sleeker looking and smaller PS3.

Although her face has been altered a bit the reason why the old one still looks better is because it's a pre-rendered model that has more detail and basically looks 50x's better than the in-game model.
The hair in the teaser trailer looks so good, but personally I think the old model looked better.

Yeah it looks good but people saying we don't need PS4 are just stupid. TLOU looks 5x's better than UC3 and the difference between in-game and cut-scenes is noticeable in UC3 and TLOU, why do you think there was an article about people complaining about the graphical downgrades after launch.
TLOU looks good and it's what I was expecting from this gen to begin with, but to say its CGI quality is just laughable. The PS3 peaked with GOW3 and UC3, there;s a reason why...
CG? not even close. It looks about 5x's better than Uncharted 3 and the difference between this trailer and the the teaser is very noticeable.
ND's in-engine cut-scenes have a noticeable difference compared to actual gameplay. You can tell this scene is rendered in-game, it might be small cut-scene leading up to a gameplay segment.
I knew it wouldn't look as good as the pre-rendered teaser but oh well.

1. If I saw this in a game shop I would ignore it thinking it's sexually perverted game and move on.

UC3 looks spectacular in some areas and beyond horrendous in others, the gameplay is broken as hell and it's just too scripted.
