I didn't realize Hotline Miami was out on PS4 and was free download for PS3 owners already. I was just strolling through the store last night and was pleasantly surprised that I had a free download of Hotline Miami, so I got it and played for a lil while.
Just knowing that all those Day-1 $$DLCs$$ they showed for that game would have been part of the game back in the day when there were no HDDs in consoles is what is annoying. I want 100% of the original game I'm paying for - if I'm paying full price. Don't chop chunks of a full priced game off and say it was created on a Day-1 $DLC$ budget, cuz that's a lie. The problem is the higher ups have too much control at Crapcom. The devs are still good, they just don't have any type of creative freedom at all, except slightly with Street Fighter. It's the higher ups constantly forcing the idea of broadening the audience for every freaking genre of franchises they have. They take it too far with this idea until they completely change the genre of said franchise.

If it's as long lasting and as effective, then yeah - they're worse. They've had people paying for Live since the original Xbox in 2003, and have had way more $$$ to pour into security for over a decade now into Xbox Live. So, yes, they would be worse if an attack brings them down to the same extent at this point in time.
They're idiots for always hurting the gamers when they wanna teach the big company a lesson, but what he says is true about Sony not spending the PS+ subscription profits on upgrading security quick enough. It's gonna cost them more in the end if the attacks continue, rather than if they'd just been upgrading at the rate they should have been.

Yeah, it's pretty corny when I see a next-gen console game on Amazon discounted down to like $20, and the digital version is still $60.
Nintendo knows how to make good/fun games, I guess that's why they can get away with so much. They can survive almost solely off 1st party games, that can't be said of MS at all. I might get a Wii U if that Zelda game turns out to be amazing. There's not a single X1 game that I can say I'd buy the console for based on that 1 title(maybe Gears if it's awesome enough that they can bring back that amazing feeling of Gears 1 in this new era).
