It's like he said, it depends on the type of game.

It's basically robbery.

Day-1 $$DLC$$ = Content they claim is created on a separate budget from the game. It's really just the original game budget, then they say ok, this game has a $20 mill budget, let's just say it's $17 mill, and the $DLC$ budget is $3 mill. We'll successfully rob everyone of this content if they don't preorder, and save some of it for a few months down the line to go with other $DLC$ later. The whole idea of Day-1 $DLC$ is absurd....

It's highly risky on a game like this. I wouldn't have been pre-ordering to begin with. This is one of those games I'd have to wait and see reviews on, and check out gameplay vids after release. They're only hurting themselves by diving into the deep end of the anti-consumer pool so quickly. They don't have the pull of a COD or whatever.

I'm also just so sick of Day-1 $$$DLC$$$ altogether. It's obvious that it's content that was made on the ori...

I hope the rumors are true about co-op multiplayer mode. When I watched one trailer a little while back, I thought the game was fully tactical, with pausing the screen nonstop. The action combat looks nice and fluid though, and way better than Elder Scrolls games. Maybe not as fast paced and smooth as Witcher 3, but still awesome for a game like this - especially if multiplayer makes it in there. I'll definitely buy this game if it has proper, fun co-op. Not to enrage rpg-ers that despise...

I personally despise Focus. It just doesn't feel like SF. It's a step up from EO(Easy Operation) that was made for the same reason, to attempt to bring in more casuals. I just am not a fan of it.

Also, the higher ups at Crapcom seem to have way too much power. They've done it with every other franchise they own, franchises way more far reaching than SF. I don't see why Ono would be able to overstep them with SF, they're gonna do something stupid like '...

LOL, almost no one mentions DLNA music/vid streaming? WTF? That's one of the biggest issues right now, the only way to stream media right now is an annoying web browser workaround - or the paywalled(Music/Video Unlimited). We need that, and local support for copying music/vids over.

-Folders is another one.
-Themes
-Full HDD transfer for replacing an HDD, so you don't have to go back and redownload stuff.

Like SaveFerris said, everythi...

Well, didn't that COO already announce SF5, along with a new pay-for-advantage system? LOL, then Ono immediately tried to do PR damage control by stating there'll be no pay4advantage coming with it. So, they already soured the whole announcement for me. I'm still wondering if they're planning on making the SF5 game for hardcore fans again, like they said they would long ago. I'm sure that'll be out the window if there's really a p4a system to go with it. Whatever, ...

Ok, I just watched some youtube of it. Yeah, it's definitely not like the NES one, which would be hard to expect with it being an arcade game. It still has the fast action combat and bosses, but not the RPGish gameplay to it, just level based(understandably, again with it being an arcade cabinet game). I would really like them to work on a new next-gen one that maintains the NES version's metroidvania gameplay.

I hope they don't do like a 900p for X1/PS4, then boost PS4 to 1080p on day 1 to avoid the parity clause. Unless it's optimized properly on PS4, cuz that's what I think made Ghost run so horribly on PS4, other than it being ported from last gen basically.

I wouldn't get an SSD in general, too much opportunity for it to fail in a short period of time. You'd have to get the more expensive ones, just to ensure it doesn't die on you in like a year or 2. Standard HDD or SSHD is the way to go, with SSHD being in the best Goldie Lox zone. The only issue I have is that 2TB 2.5in bay SSHDs aren't standard yet, it's mainly 1-1.5TB SSHDs you'll find. I'm waiting for it to hit 2TB more broadly across the board, where I can just...

Ah, thanks for reminding me, I think I'm gonna prolly buy that game tonight. I love that they're giving most DLC for free. I'm also a huge fan of PvZ 1 on PS3, and I played a bit of 2 on the phone.

LOL, the original Rygar, I don't remember exactly how different it was from the NES version, but Rygar is a game I'll never forget. I can hear the theme song from the NES version playing in my head now. The NES version was basically a metroidvania game. Very cool, challenging and fun. The bosses and atmosphere were pretty original too. I wasn't in favor of the PS2 one, it seemed to be of poor production quality overall. I'd love for them to really bring it back though, like ho...

The gain isn't much, because that's an SSHD. An SSD is much faster. An SSHD is actually worth it, because it's almost the same price as a regular HDD, and gives a noticeable boost, nowhere near SSD, but worth it for the slight increase in price over an HDD.

I think the 8-10x power difference is enough, but maybe not if they want to do it with their own coders. They'd have to have one of the hacker kids that know what they're doing create it. With them not even having the easier PS1/PS2 emulation going yet though, and PS Now being mainly for PS3 games - I don't see it happening. These companies are too concerned with getting more $$ out of us, and they wouldn't be getting much payoff doing that.

It's an emulator, the system doesn't have to be designed for it. The emulator would just be run on the AMD APU in the system, the same way the emulator would be run on a PC with an APU or regular CPU/GPU. It'd just be slightly altered to run on the FreeBSD-based OS of the PS4.

Yeah, a smile comes to my face when I hear 'Metroidvania'. I'd love for a new proper SOTN type Castlevania to come out. I wouldn't mind it in 3D, if they could manage to pull it off properly and not screw it all up in the process.

And keep mp map packs free on it, like it use to be, before BF3. Yeah, I know, like that's gonna ever happen again. It is the only reason I allowed my friend to talk me into giving BF a try though, back on PS3 with Bad Company 2. It made the switch over smoother, and made DICE/EA look like better people than Activision and their devs. Now, they're just tyring to be Activision, from the subscription based Premium to the nonstop $$ map packs and other $$DLC.
