That's about $18 million at $60 a copy.
That makes sense, maybe later down the line with better compression algorithms the video save function can be upgraded to 1080p from 720p smoothly because of this. Kind of like Ustream and Twitch upgraded their stream compression algorithms.
One thing that hugely turned me off from this game before even trying the Beta and Alpha was the fact that Bungie stupidly chose to go with Activision.
Well, 1 point the article is right on is that I didn't expect any game to completely block SharePlay from being used at all. It's not extremely surprising to see it happen, but yeah, it does kind of put a slight dent in the feature when we aren't sure if an anticipated game is gonna do the same. It's pretty risky for the dev/publisher to do though, considering we'll know right away that it was them that chose to do so since Sony has it open for all to use. They have to kno...
What's the ETA on DLNA?
When I went to install the update this morning, the screen went black, and the light on the PS4 was white and looking like it was doing something. It was going on forever though, and the controller couldn't turn the system on, holding the power button wasn't working - though I may have not held it for the full 10 seconds. So, I did the stupid dangerous thing and unplugged it.
Luckily, it rebuilt the database and the install finished and everything seems fine. I usuall...
I wonder if they'll upgrade the graphics a bit on the 2nd one, they should. That's all the 1st was missing.
Outlast scared the crap out of me on that first scare. I still haven't played it through yet on PS4, I watched my nephew get through some of it though.
Yeah, pretty corny, but someone will jump out and scream how we should be happy to be getting anything at all. It's about to be 2015 though, it's pretty sad. I still feel the reason it's so annoying and there's no local or DLNA player is because they want to force Music/Video Unlimited on us as the most convenient method.
She talks about him asking aggressive questions, and about GamerGate slinging mud on her. It's all these devs that are constantly slinging mud and very serious accusations at GamerGate, based on some trolls that are 'attacking' them. So, her answer to how she knows the attacks are connected to GamerGate is that they spawned from a message board that she claims is specifically for GamerGaters, where all these attacks are planned.
Yet, there's no disagreeing on ...
@Gwiz,
Yeah, basically what they always do. It's weird though, with how much $$$ they bank off each one, it seems it'd be beneficial for them to work on it a little harder. Bobby Kotick and friends over at Activision made their stance clear on all the negatives COD fans always point out though, which basically boiled down to "We listen to sales solely, if they don't drop drastically, we aren't gonna do anything differently."
This is ...
Not only is the performance horrible during gameplay, but it also stresses the CPU at all times. So, hitting the Home or Share button caused a long pause usually before there was a response. I also believe the CPU stressing was part of why the Video saving would screw up more on Ghosts than other PS4 games. It's as if Infinity Ward didn't know how to use profiling tools at all for the hardware.
I'm gonna have to go with Valve.
On PS4 atleast, the worst problem with Ghosts is the performance.
Yeah, I played the hell out of that game.
I was gonna say Castlevania IV. Legend of Gaia was cool too.
Some gooduns:
*Secret Of Mana* - Demon's Crest - ActRaiser - *Super Metroid* - Earthworm Jim - Pilot Wings - MK2 - SSF2 - Clay Fighter
Was it necessary to state it'd include all NEW assets? Who'd be even considering buying this if it didnt?
That's the craziest lil rendering engine. It looks so damn good.
THey pulled a Namco/Crapcom with this one.
