The full action route isn't the problem here, it's the crappy way they went at full action. They went for a crappy musou type, and have some of the sorriest AI ever seen. FFXV is also full action, and actually looks pretty damn good.
Yeah, dunno what the point of them lying was. It's not like they weren't gonna be forced to show it to us soon anyways. Damn Dynasty Warriors. It'd be nice if it played like FFXV, or something similar.
Compared to this, I rather it be a regular DQ game. This doesn't look like it'll be that fun, unless you still enjoy Dynasty Warriors. Do the friggin' smaller enemies even ever attack the player? Piece of crap waste of dev time that could have gone into ...
That's good to hear.
Those gfx were damn good, especially with it not being optimized for 1 platform. The real-time combat system looks really nice, I just hope the enemy AI is top notch, especially in harder areas.
I hope it is really good.
I agree on the uninteresting characters and the modern vibe in the city, but the combat system is what I like the most of what I've seen so far. I can't tell how great the enemy AI is/isn't so far, but it looks far from clunky. I also hope you can really explore that whole seemingly open-world space in the background. The real-time combat is what's drawing me into this though, I haven't really been interested in classic JRPG turn-based games in a while.
I ...
Atleast it seems it's doing the action rpg right. I love that the enemies actually react to impact when you hit them, rather than just walking around regularly as you're doing super moves to them. It seems like it can end up being very good. I never liked the look of the characters though, dressed in all black like some emo kids. I'm loving the visuals, seemingly huge open-world and well done real-time combat so far though. I'd like to see how far the engine could go visually ...
The gameplay is looking much better, with way faster and fluid combat action now. I don't like the main character's generic voice acting, but that's whatever. The environments and everything are looking way nicer too, instead of the early builds dungeons that all looked like the squared-off stone walls, with just different ice/fire/plant theme textures pasted on them.
This game could be really fun, as long as Capcom doesn't get too greedy with their implementa...
I'd like to see more of the story co-op stuff.
That was F*CKIN AWESOME! I really need to play through that PT teaser, and stop being a b*tch about it every time it starts gettin' a lil scary.
Now that trailer looked pretty damn awesome! Animation and visuals were very good.
It would be pretty cool in all those genres, would be nice in an FPS to see the faces 'n know right away like, "Oh crap, it's the awesome player on their team, gotta be careful vs this guy here."
I don't think the issue is it being close to another game, it's that it seems they purposely had the intent of copying.
LOL, I got disagreed for this? Wow, ok, just for that I'm gonna show the comparison vids. Since n4g kids wanna be idiots.
Shadow Fall - The Park https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Advanced Warfare - Venus https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Not to mention, even some guns look pretty similar to Killzo...
Yea, a place I worked a few months back was full of middle-aged women playing Candy Crush all day on their smartphones. Going back and forth on how to get past certain stages. I'm not sure that should be included in the argument of women being the largest demographic, if they only play certain smartphone games and don't touch consoles or even deeper gamer games on iOS/android. It's just a way to try and make devs look bad and like they're excluding females unfairly.

Nice.
Well, they definitely ripped some maps off Killzone: ShadowFall.
It's a complete contradiction, and shows it's not even about equality. LGBT always complains about being segregated from everyone else, they're segregating themselves though - regardless of non-LGBT folks being invited or not to this. There's no reason to have this if you're just wanting a conference about gaming. This is pretty corny.
Wow, just - wow.
On PS3 this is called "any regular day".
