DriveClub was terrible. It was pretty and that’s it. Horizons at least has replay value and diversity. And more cars. And more events. And better physics nd more tuning... and customizing, and social features.... and just about everything else.... including a great licensed soundtrack.
The only thing they have in common is the game engine and the brand. Everything else is different. Horizons is an arcade racer and Motorsport is meant to be realistic with real tracks - for people like me who love racing and cars in real life and want to recreate the experiences at home.
Gonna be epic. First game for my one x specifically (if I can ever pre-order the damn thing).

Seems the problem is people wanting pre-order info, not crackdown. I think most agree delaying crackdown was a good thing. Same as uncharted 4 and now Gran Turismo. They’re better games for it.

I honestly wouldn’t pay for ps+ or xbl gold if they weren’t required for online play. I rarely if ever download the free games and they’re gone the minute you stop paying anyway so it’s not really free. And most of the games I am going to buy I get on launch so I rarely go back for sales... unless there is a deal for new releasss. This is why developers ultimately won’t support switch like they do Xbox and PlayStation. Power literally actually matters. Not just in resolution/graphics but also the fact that modern game creation tools/engines require more power. There’s a baseline standard that’s established. I think this will ultimately haunt the Switch - just like what happened to th original Wii after its initial success.

I’m pretty sure I know what I like and don’t like. I didn’t much care for the order. It looked pretty but there are way better titles both past and present.
they've already explained it. they are prioritizing cranking up the graphics on one x ehanced titles to showcase its power, did the e3 thing w/ ms and have some marketing deals in place. not really a secret. theres no secret game or special dlc. maybe I'm wrong but i work pretty closely with the industry - particularly marketing campaigns/advertising so we usually know whats coming due to the fact that we make all the stuff they reveal beforehand.
