They have to do a lot more marketing with ME4 in order to make consumers forget about ME3. This is very careful damage control.
On the bright side I've heard that pretty much all of the Vario's trigger grips or covers will scratch up the L1/R1 buttons.
Despite communicating almost exclusively in hyperbole, the average N4G has no understanding of what it is or how to recognize it.
A metal gear game that looks pretty? I never would have guessed. I can't speak for MGS and earlier, but -every- subsequent game has literally set (and raised) the bar for visual quality.
Because Sony wants you to buy both platforms and can make more money off you via subscription streaming services.
But Square-Enix really needs your money to help finance the 12th and 13th years of development for FFXV! Along with all those new mobile games we've all been asking for.
I'm sorry, but there are tons of stories about criminals who are decent, or clever, or polite--and Rockstar can't seem able to make ANY character with ANY of those characteristics.
Expect pretty major visual sacrifices--framerate, resolution, etc. CDPR is a great developer and all, but they really have no idea how to optimize their games.
When there are more Amiibo than there are games on the flagship platform... at that point there are far, far too many.
I don't like GTAV, either. For me, it's mostly because all three main characters are just... terrible, rotten people... and the humor is so... teenage.
Don't get me wrong, I love the open-world environments and gameplay (well, aside from the floaty controls for cars and wonky air physics for planes), I just wish I could get that in a package that didn't force me to play as a douchebag.
...I've never noticed that to be the case with PNGs.
Most PNGs I've seen or used are approximately the same size as JPGs.
I'm not sure what these 3-4MB PNG images are you're loading, Grievous, but I can tell you right now that most of the PNG wallpapers in my folder (1080p) are 600-800KB. I've got two that are about 10MB, but those are probably my fault somewhere (they're images I scanned from books).
And correct me if I'm ...
A JRPG.
From Square-Enix.
Hopefully.
Really?
I don't know why anyone EVER uses jpegs in this day and age. PNGs have been around for... more than a decade, at the very least.
Of course, the other problem with PS4 screens is the fact that they're automatically resized.
The Forza games are open-world?
"Hacks" like AngryJoe not covering Nintendo games is probably the biggest reason why Nintendo is struggling to keep the WiiU alive.
You're (completely) forgetting the "fair-use" argument.
But, of course, I realize that the vast majority of Youtubers who are dealing with Nintendo (or games in general) do not produce content that would fall under fair-use. Hell, most of AngryJoe's stuff DOES fit under fair-use, but then he does Nintendo videos that do not--and whines (unjustifiably) when they get taken down.
The problem--the REAL problem--is that Nintendo is not distinguis...
The textures are the same as the PS3 version. Any difference you think you see would be due to either resolution or filtering.
Fine, call it a "lie."
But you act like you have some sort of rational expectation otherwise.
Which is, frankly, terrifying.
ALL advertising is misleading. That's the point.
...That's not a "promise."
Do you not know what words mean?
@Dfooster: it doesn't really matter what you or I or anyone else thinks of Mass Effect 3: the fact is, it was a catastrophe. It generated months of bad press and years' of enmity among a large portion of its target audience, it forced Bioware to expend a lot of resources trying to "fix" the ending problem, and drove the development studio's founders--Muzyka and Zeschuk--out of the company AND out of the gaming industry altogether.
And as you can see by t...
