The framerate probably going to be in between 50-60 depending on how chaotic your particular situation is. Some people might want to jump on this, but no exclusive game is confirmed to be at a locked 60fps so I take this as good news for the PS4. Still excited for the game..
The hardware isn't struggling, per say. It's developers that are having to make sacrifices when they want to have great visual effects, 1080p and 60fps. It's seems like most developers are sacrificing resolution over frames, but GG chose the opposite route, because the pride themselves on visuals and not silky gameplay. Most other games are running 60fps locked but not at 1080p.
I thought this was already known? The game wasn't built with 60fps in mind because the devkit they built it on was limited to 1.5GB of RAM, this was before the increase to 8 from 4GB of ram by Sony. Honestly, the only reason they changed they're mind was because fans were disappointed when the initial gameplay reveal was at 30fps second and not 60fps(discovery courtesy of DF). I knew as soon as they said "targeting 60fps in multiplayer" that is was going to be a somewhat sof...
The zoom has nothing to do with it. A native 4k supported game will shit all over Full HD(1080p) every time. The reason this is so minimal is because this nothing but scaling, which is becoming a real nuisance to me ever since I became a PC gamer. I want to see some games that are built at native 2k or 4k, so as to really get a look at how they can look.
Hmm...All that's left is to see what resolution the PS4 version is at and how it hold up to 60fps. I'm expecting something like 900p/60fps locked. Site would probably blow up up if that happened.
Excited for the beta. Just hope it's not so god awful like BF3's was.
People should be concerned as to how much of this OS is making up the overhead on the PS4. Just judging by all that it does and how it looks, I would say that this OS is going to take up at least 2gb of that 8gb of gdrr5 within the system which limits it to 6 max for games. Honestly, that's disappointing.
Where? What are you watching?
Was actually expecting the difference to be bigger, but this isn't a 4k native game so whatever. I won't be buying a 4k monitor for my PC for at least 3 years so this doesn't affect me anyway. Game is looking good though..
Lol is the on-going news so weak today, that there's an article about the start-up beep? Wow...
Yea, wrestling is actually more popular than football is. That goes for both the U.S and the rest of the world. A media deal with wrestling would put them well ahead of Microsoft. So would a NBA or International Futbol deal.
It would certainly seem that way, with all the positive feedback Sony is getting from the game industry world-wide. I can probably literally count the bad news articles for PS4 on one hand. I fully expect this to be a one-sided generation, with Sony regaining it's position at the top even in the U.S, Microsoft's backyard. Really the only thing that could hold them back is a bad marketing campaign, which I seriously doubt will happen considering the new people they have in their market...
My uncle in Japan gave me a white PS3 some years back, so I was fine on that front. However I don't think, he would be willing to do that again, so I hope they bring color varied PS4s to the United States.
Just give me a white PS4 and I'll be happy. It'll match my PS3 beautifully!! :D
If you don't want to upgrade in the next few years, it's best you get either a 780 or a dual GPU setup(something like dual GTX 570s SLI).Next-gen consoles are going to drive the bar by a sizable margin, so it's best to make sure that the GPU you have will be able to keep for the duration of this gen if you don't want to upgrade more than once to keep gaming at max-settings.
You will not build a PC for $700 dollars that will outperform a next-gen console. I'm sorry but it's not possible. If you're legitimately building a low-expense rig that can supposedly outperform the new consoles, you're going to need a gaming keyboard, mouse, 300+w psu, a GPU comparable to the 7870 or higher, an i5 or higher CPU(so as to not bottleneck the GPU), you have to buy the OS, you need a fucking gaming monitor because you're not going to be experiencing a game at...
They're using high-end laptop CPUs not GPUs. I don't know where you got that from.
What's you point? A person is fully capable of judging a game based upon the trailers and gameplay videos released for it.
In my opinion, developers should drop the 1080p dream for console players and give them the experience for 900p/60fps. Once you've experienced a locked 60fps or higher game, you will find it damn near impossible to return to a crappy 30fps game that dips at will.
I'm somewhat confident that some of the Sony exclusive developers might manage 1080p/60fps in their games, but other than that just give them 900p/60fps. They won't even be able to tell the difference bec...
The single-player is a locked 30fps with native 1080p. It's only the multiplayer that's a soft 60fps. What are you talking about??
