Great read and interesting take on the capabilities and lack there of with the human visual cortex in certain conditions. Have to say though, consoles should never exceed 60fps as it isn't really necessary; resources can be spent on far more important aspects of the game than adding even more visual fidelity.

More bad news about the graphical accomplishment that is the console version of BF4. Watered down significantly on the consoles when compared to any capable PC counter-part. Something I find interesting is that the PS4 has a comparable GPU pretty much right in-between a 7850 and 7870, with a CPU most likely clocked at 1.6 Ghz. Wasn't a problem for me with BF3, isn't going to be a problem for me now. Doesn't take that long to change weapons and attachments in-game manually.

This is 2013 and people still complaining about download sizes, even though they are the source of the problem. Lmao at the people who think 6 MB/s is Ok in today's society. Need to jump off the 1990s bullshit and upgrade. I got Google Fiber, so even if I did get downloadable version, we're talking 1 GB/s for 50GB+ games.
