Surprising..

Ah ok..
Would have been highly disappointed if that had not been the case. I mean, 64 player rush on Talah Market at 1440p/60fps is insanely good. Don't see why they would take that out for BF4.

Exactly...it would be insanely chaotic. That's what I want; mass chaotic cluster-fuck moments. Similar to zerg style 64-man conquest on Metro.

Defuse sounds intense.
Disappointed that there is no 64 players rush on PC..

Yea, so the PS4 version of the game is confirmed to be running above 720p. Now, I don't know if it's closer to 1080p or 720p but it is above the resolution the XB1 is running, which would make it technically inferior.

Console version of this game look like horse shit. I don't think it has anything to do with the hardware, especially in the case of the textures, shaders, lighting and destruction. This is, yet again, another extremely bad port from PC to console without enough time taken to make the console version look decent whatsoever. Do yourselves a favor and don't buy this game unless you're buying it on PC. Consoles deserve better...

More bad impressions from Ryse, although they did say that it was an early build. Would be concerned if I was buying a Xbox One but I'm not, so I don't give a fuck. First it was 1080p/60fps, now it's 900p/30fps. Now we even have "last gen textures". Ouch!! Man these consoles(PS4 to a lesser extent) are a big let down.

I want this game really, really bad. I loved Defender!!

Ouch...That's horrible.
Does that include flexible memory or are those just the dedicated memory slots?

It's only being reported as an alternative to backwards compatibility. Streaming games from past PlayStation consoles such as all the PS1, PS2 and PS3 classics. Considering how long the delay is for Europe and the U.S is only getting it until next year, it's technically impossible for that to happen. Unless of course, Sony plans to undermine it's PS+ by not allowing PS4 owners to play online.

Oh god, please be P5.
I love you long time Sega if you make it happen.

Trolololol

I didn't know games could be judged on not even pre-alpha footage. Could you be more pessimistic, bro? Makes Ryse look spectacular, huh? I'm guessing that's why Ryse's character animations were thrashed so bad, you would think the combat was broken. Which game is at 1080p/60fps and 900p/30fps, again? You're obviously biased, but you wouldn't even download it for free? Game looks abysmal? Wow!! Could you by the way show me the game you're...

Wait so it's confirmed 1GB for the OS? If so, that's pretty damn awesome.

Looks really smooth and definitely a possibility for themes return, which is a definite plus for PlayStation. But with that said, how much resource overhead does the PS4 actually have? As a person who plans on being a PC/PS4 gamer this gen, I'm generally concerned with how much of the PS4s memory is specifically dedicated to games and how much is available for them in general(i.e how much memory is the OS taking up). I know they clarified that there is flexible memory within the system, b...

Does anybody know how much memory is dedicated to games? I heard that they also have flexible memeory, but I'm wondering how much is dedicated to games and how much resource overhead the PS4 actually has; ala PS Home, UI, game capture, exc. exc.

Console versions look like bullshit so far, but that's probably because we still can't get any DIRECT FEED gameplay from anyone. Anyways, since XB1 version is confirmed 720p/60fps, I'm curious to know what the resolution is on the PS4. 900p/60fps would make this site explode but I'm skeptical about that. Anyways, framerate looks decent even though the guy that shot this is a total wad. Definitely a significant upgrade from current gen.

Overall, I'm not imp...

Xbox bashing one of it's own flagship titles? Say it ain't so!!! Seriously, did they say one positive thing about the game, I feel like I missed something.

Exactly, unlike Forza 5, this game is native with 60fps in most situations, coupled with great visual effects, something that F5 is not doing. Also, people should take into account of F5 is even really native 1080p and a locked 60fps. Microsoft told us that Ryse was 1080p and now it's 900p upscaled. I can't wait for the DF analysis.
