GTA 4 wasn't a horrible game, it just wasn't the classic game we were led to believe. I have only got 35% completion and I really dont feel the need to go back to it ant time soon. MG4 just made me forget all about it.
If you've ever seen the movie "Basic" and seen those scenes at the end where Samuel L Jackson confronts the soldiers in the rain, that scene is what I think the MGS movie should be like. I don't know what it is but that scene always reminded me of metal gear for some reason. I liked the style.
Nothing pisses me off more than getting slammed to the ground in MGO...except maybe being tranqued unconscious.
Im just the opposite, I haven't made it past 35% in GTA (and I bought it the first day it was available) it was way over hyped to be honest.
MGS4 on the other hand had me locked in until I beat it and Im making my way through on the highest difficulty on my second play through. It was better than I even hoped for.
Dammit Opie...
One of the most cinematic fights ever. The music, camera and special moves made the ocelot fight amazing. Damn I love MGS4.
Respect to Thanatos for playing DMC on Dante Must Die mode. I played on hard and barely made it through.
I got stuck at vamp too. Damn syringe.
All of the MGS boss fights are amazing, it's hard to pick a top 10.
The End and the MGS4 Ocelot fight rank way up there though. Oh yeah, and the first time I played Vulcan raven from mgs1, he scared the hell outta me when he started running.
Edit: holy crap, the Boss was an awesome fight too
Finished it last night. Holy $hit...what an amazing game.Loved the final scene. Time for The Boss difficulty!
the different headslaps were a nice touch.
Mgs2's areas really weren't all that big either but I squeezed a hell of a lot of time into that one. but to tell you the truth, I'd buy it even if it was a guaranteed 5 hours.
I didn't read this article, but the 5 hour thing people have mentioned has been in the other mgs's too, as requirements for certain ending "titles". Its possible to go through the games that fast if you go through it like a machine, but I usually take around 20 hours for the first time through. If you were happy with the game length of the others you'll probably be happy with this one Im guessing.
EDIT: then again I'm a hardcore fan and Im in it for the experience, so...
Star ocean 2 was one of my favorite games ever.I never played the later games so I wonder if it kept the same style.
OMG ... I have been converted.

"I agree with Max 100%...the Gambit system was terrible...it was just made for ULTRA lazy RPGers who didn't want to control more than 1 character."
I see what you mean but the system worked great, was speedy and still fun. I loved the game, and hope FFXiii has a similar battle system.
Jak IV would be awesome. I love those games. I'm dying to see what ND could do with the series on PS3.
My computer is, for some reason, mysteriously blocking images like uploaded photos from showing up. even if I wanted the game to be spoiled I couldn't lol. Its like God wants me to enjoy MGS4 in all its glory for myself.yep.
wii gamers= Johnny?
