i bought doom 3 for my pc, and it was alright. It just got boring really quick, the same with Quake 4. I will say that I liked D3 better than Q4 though.
I still play my ps2 every once in a while. I like to go back and play missions in Jak 2 & 3 as well as playing through GOW II for the 10th time.

I love red faction, even if the 2nd one didn't really have anything to do with the first. Im really looking forward to Guerrilla for some nice geomod action. oh and hooray for jetpacks!

The characters and style of SC always bothered me. The gameplay is great but there's something annoyingly fruity about the whole thing (especially that announcer voice.)

first of all, holy $hit. i did not see the dumpster story going in that direction. I think I'll cringe every time I see one. Second lol that your wife felt you needed to be told to not let your kid play in a dumpster.

I thought about getting this but I have the original. I think I just prefer the way it was originally released, nostalgia and whatnot.
yeah thats what I was trying to say below. SE would get trashed for either changing too much or not changing enough if they did a direct remake.
I wonder if SE is afraid to touch FFVII in terms of a real remake. I don't think they could make die hard fans happy, because you know some things would be changed. I'm not sure if they could do a remake that would do justice to fans' memories of FFVII. A sequel is a good idea.
