The point of the whole 10 year cycle is more about people who want a cheap alternative to the cutting edge. take the ps1 for instance. it launched in '94 in japan (i think)people were still buying them in 2004.

Comparing COD4 to KZ is kind of dumb since killzone will have extra development time while call of duty is close to release. KZ can only end up looking better.
