Mgs2 was amazing even with Raiden being lame. I personally loved the story and never really understood why people hated it so much. The twists were great and the atmosphere was incredible, and i don't think a game has ever made me go "holy sh1t" in quite the same way (especially when Fortune gets shot).
With that said, MGS3 is probably my favorite. the Boss story is one of the best I've seen in games. Still I love them all, and even loved MGS4's slightly ridiculous e...
I think Jak 2 just might be my favorite game ever, despite my unnatural love for metal gear. The First and third games were great, but Jak 2 was perfection. Glad to see at least one Jak game up there though. \
Edit: Also, Sonic the Hedgehog was pretty rad back in the day.
The levels are big and open but I wouldn't call it open world, at least not in the sense that Oblivion was. You have to go to a map and "travel" to different cities. I love the structure of the game, and the story and characters are awesome.
I am seriously loving this game. Definitely in my top 3 of the year.
Side note- I am stuck on the Broodmother part. Ugh, I only have one good character that can do ranged.
A great game, though I have to play one chapter at a time and then leave it for a while(I'm working on Chapter 7). Dead Space stresses me out.
Damn I miss Twisted Metal Black. I traded it in for some reason, before I realized gamestop was a total ripoff.
Jaffe better be bringin' the sweet tooth goodness to PS3 soon.
I want the metal gear series and Jak and Daxter series, especially Jak 2. Make it happen.
I don't think that's really a bad thing, even though I do want FFXIII out now. Being more spread out gives me more time to put into games that I'd otherwise not play, like Demon's Souls.
30, 60 fps... whatever. Just make sure its better than Doom 3 and Quake 4. If not, then I'll be busy playing Borderlands anyway.
The facial expressions in the trailer are insanely good. Naughty Dog knows how to create great characters.
My only problem with KZ2 was Rico. I mean that guy was such an @sshole.
I knew what was coming at the end of the game and I was like, "Rico, NO NO don't you gad damn do it... dammit Rico!.
Dammit I wanted to say Teen Wolf, too late ...
oh well

I don't understand why everyone is so angry.
I just picked up tools of destruction last week, and I really like it. Still, it makes me want a new Jak on PS3. Ratchet is good, but nobody can make characters, worlds, and gameplay quite like Naughty Dog did with Jak and Daxter games.
Aw yeeeah. I would love to play Mass Effect. My PC is garbage and I have no 360, so I'm keeping mah fingers crossed.
I never understood why people hated DMC4. It was pretty much exactly like DMC3. The only thing that I can think of that bothered me about it was the lame backtracking, but even that wasn't terrible.
It's pretty lame when people bash MGS2 for Raiden, even if he was the character you played as, he was never the main character. It was Kojima's way of giving a new perspective on solid snake. As far as I'm concerned, MGS2 was a great game with a great story and awesome moments.
Metal Gear Solid 3 is probably the most awesome though (or 4 I can't decide.)
I saw this and Ratchet and Clank Future selling for roughly the same price this weekend. I ended up going with Ratchet, but I still feel like going back and picking it up. Giantbomb loved this game, so it is probably awesome.
Not sure, but I just wanted to say Jak and Daxter is one of the most kick ass platformers ever made.
Jak 2 is right up there with MGS3 as my all time favorite games. I would also add Devil May Cry, Ace Combat 4, twisted Metal Black, MGS1, Star Ocean 2,Shadow of the Colossus, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2,Ape Escape (yep),FFX (though never got around to finishing it) & FFXII.
