First of all, i'm gonna say this was my first SF game (besides playing a couple of rounds of SFII on emulation). Second, it seemed weird to me that I played through arcade on medium with Ryu and beat Seth (it took a few tries). I decided to start unlocking characters by using easiest difficulty and 1 round. I swear to god, depending on the character you use, Seth goes apeshit and I can barely get a hit in (i cannot beat him with blanka)
Edit: even if this is a real problem, SFI...
i hate playing checkers because you can only move diagonally
There's nothing wrong with the controls. The End. :D
Unless there is a problem with particular tvs, I really cant see any control issues.
You guys mock him, but his failed career is really all part of the plan. Totally for serious guys... he's secretly a genius!
I was using Firefox exclusively until Chrome became available. It's speedy as hell.
The Sonic and Zelda shots are my favorites. I would gladly pay full price for classic games that were graphically updated like this. Keeping the same gameplay. *sigh if only...
Thanks for the detailed post, and you're entitled to your opinion of course but I don't see how the aiming is causing such a problem for you. I was popping off helmets like crazy. I guess pushing the R3 button to aim feels different, but not in a bad way IMO. Really smooth.
I completely agree with you an the AI though. It's pretty sweet to see the Helghast constantly moving from cover to cover. That's why it's not a run and gun style game though, which I love. It gives it nice pa...
I downloaded this as soon as I got back from class. Only took about 10 minutes, surprisingly.
Playing the demo... it is glorious. It manages to look incredible even on my crappy 13 in sdtv. The weight of the controls feels perfect (though I did have time to get used to them durinig the beta)and the action is intense as hell. Guerrilla Games, I love you. FEB 27...
Edit: the demo is short but sweet. I am pumped for this game.
And by the way, OMG @ the lighti...
ugh was hoping for a console release.. oh well
I'll be too busy with SFIV
Holy crap, I thought that pre-order number was worldwide. I think I'm going to regret not pre-ordering...
Possibly the worst website ever?
whoa. those are realtime?
YES
I think RE is its own kind of game, so I really don't have a problem with the controls. They fit, and it's not like they were poorly designed... people have just gotten used to Gears style shooting. Thats not what RE is about. Anyways, the demo was pretty good IMO. Co-op is pretty cool.
Edit: I do think that the devs may have stuck extremely close to what they thought made RE4 a success, but I have to play more to see if that's a good thing or not.

Nice Score from a crappy site.
Resident Evil is pretty good, but unfortunately nowhere on the radar for me in February. SFIV + KZ2 = whole month booked.
Good move, good move indeed.
Crap, I should have preordered. I had a hard time finding Street FIghter 4 a day after release, this is gonna be crazy.
