I am currently playing, for the first time, two games that have been named as some of the best ever - FFVII and Half Life 2. While I'm not too far into FFVII(just found Red XIII), its already obvious why people love it so much. Yeah its dated, but I can appreciate it for what it was. I love the style and atmosphere.
I have to say though, Half Life 2 is not what I expected, it just seems to drag.
i got this game for 8 dollars and loved it.
but i can't play MGS4 on PC
probably one of the greatest cartoons ever made yo.
I like the covers from MGS2, Jak 3, SF4 and the original GoW.
Also, the collector's edition case for FFXII was badass

That one is glorious. I totally regret trading that game in. Thanks for reminding me.
Dude orange day-glo is suhweet
Yeah, some of this seems kind of strange but I have to admit that I love the way the Orange Box looks... but kinda in the same way i like bulldogs because they're fugly.
Oregon Trail was depressing
Props to Nintendo for putting a real game on the wii (or at least a game that I would play)
The gamecube version of metal gear? I see what they did there.
Glad to see FFXII get some respect though, I loved it.
Double standards are entertaining/frustrating.
I don't care if it's "cheating" or not, KZ2 looks incredible. Use whatever trick you need to make it look this good, the end result is all that matters.
Believe it or not, FFXII was my first final fantasy. I really enjoyed the gameplay, graphics, and world that was created. Yeah, most of the characters were not very deep, but Balthier and Basche were still awesome.
Can't wait for FFXIII, hopefully they keep similar gaemeplay, just add a better story.
"However, we don't think the consumer is that naive" - doh!
@ Johnny : You're right, its all about knowing the pattern, but you have to admit the easiest difficulty should be scaled way down. I beat the game on hardest and sometimes couldn't tell the difference (Seth's difficulty seems to vary depending on the character?)
I don't have a big problem with it now though, actually it helped me get better at the game.
Uh oh, is this their way of "apologizing" for a terrible game in advance?
Man, I haven't played UT 2004 in forever,
maybe I'll play a couple of rounds.
Be smart guys... get tested today.
Well c'mon, he's got a point. I'm a HUGE Metal Gear fan and I love the story but it has some extremely cheesy elements. I love those elements in the context of Metal Gear and the world Kojima created. Do I want them in movie form ? No way. The story needs to be scaled back and more focused if it is to be a good movie. But as a game story I wouldn't change a thing.
