but you better be sure to make those last 80 hours as fun, engaging and interesting as the first 20.
truth is, even some 15 hour games begin to feel like they drag on.
means this list fails.
that game was so much better then HS.
i love his dark comedy.
fisher "we're going to play a game, I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 10, if you get it wrong I'll kill you"
suspect "6"
fish "huh, lucky guess, now tell me what I want or I'll make you play again"
half life 2, cod4, and halo 3 to name a few.
Is that it doesn't properly use the medium to tell the story.
The story in a game needs to unfold around the player, like in cod4 and half-life. Relying on cutscenes is so last gen and that should really be reflected in the scores.
Lots of people can make an interactive movie, where people have to preform an action to get to the next scene, but only few can make a game and story revolve around the character without relying on them.
I'm getting bored of "modern" warfare, it's always in the same place.
Middle east and eastern Europe, it's getting worse then ww2 games.
i lol'd.
No offense but you obviously have no clue how things works.
for example. you talk about the number of textures mattering, well, it doesn't, resolution of textures matter, and thats limted by the space in the ram, or by texture streaming.
what the ps3 does better is number crunching so, better physics and procedual code. Better poly counts.
what the 360 does better is ram and condition code. So better ai and better textures. ...

the character models are amazing, one of the first games I played where peoples eyes look real.
let me clear up some confusion for you.
The "generation" gap between consoles doesn't exist.
originally the PS3 was supposed to be launched along side the Xbox 360. And as a requirement, sony shipped out many of it's original dev kits already. This means that games have been in production for as long as 360 games. Meaning they've had the same amount to learn everything on both systems.
Second problem is neither system is as strong as we t...
so you're talking about awareness eh?
lets play a game of whats more popular.

yamaha.
they make everything from motocycles to cell phones to instruments.
Or LG, they make from TV and computer monitors, to washing machines and refridgerators.
It's not about hardware, it's about the RnD these companies are doing.
people forget that MS and Sony are much bigger then the sum of their parts. They do RnD like surface, or oleds etc.
for example.
