i guess you missed that star ocean 4 was announced for the 360 too...
there are a bunch of rpg's being made on each console, but you need to look for them. I can rattle off a good number of names.
I don't know if too human counts as an rpg or not, but it's something I'm looking forward too.
honestly, everything I heard from this game make it seem as this is what hellgate london was supposed to be.
it sounds great.
you're right... and wrong.
In terms of what we see you are right, the game looks good, but not omg amazing wtfomgbbq!11eleventeen!!2!.
but in terms of the context, and the genre revolutionizing gameplay, and story (SK are known for their story driven games). Then it is absolutely amazing.
edit.
well you see posted, what silicon knights is trying to do is create a new form of RPG, similar to that of the clasic, over head, diablo style. Howev...
I like all the parkour and free running jazz...
but I don't get the other mechanics, like the gun-play and melee. Either Way, i think I'll get this on PC just to see what mess of maps people will develop.
but I'm a bit of a masochist...
*clears throat* it's not about quantiy but quality. (something I heard many times with regards to the number of exclusives being compared to each console)
heh.
anyways, Yes, Sony does have a more in house developers (however I'm not sure how many work in each development house, ie if rare has 500 employees vs some of the sony's crews having only 1-2 hundred) but that doesn't change the fact that MS does have a first...
Sony did it last gen, just look at gta.
even ati and nvidia pay off developers to make a game benchmark better on one card then the other.
It's business. If you honestly think what MS is doing is "wrong" then I hope you didn't buy resistance 2, or ut3, or resident evil 4, or gta 3/vc/sa, and the list goes on.
hypocracy is rampant in the console wars. Paying for exclusives/content/launches is only bad when the opponent is doing it.

plus a bunch of second party, like bungie, mistwalker, wingnut interactive. And a bunch of original IP's like halo, gears, crimson skies, mech warrior etc.
and it looks like the pyro might also be getting a tool to do weapon jumps via the new secondary fire on the flame-thrower.
you do "jobs", to do things like help people or rescue people, etc.
then you can work as a henchman in another persons game.
I also believe you can find stuff like treasure.
you can also purchase business which often require you to preform a mission, making moeny off of that.
then you have bar games.
by work, all they mean is that money wont fall from random mobs like in many other rpgs.
the abilityto deflect rocket or something.
it reminds me more of diablo, and makes me want it more.
the flare gun being the same as the pyro rockets.
it completely misses the point on cinema 2.0. It's so that inhouse developers can use the same videogame assets for movies, and movie assets for game.
So, if a developer is making a game based off of a film then they can use those game assets in their title.
Or if a developer wishes to use "cg" animation for a cinimatic in their game they can have the same assets.
it's main design is to cut work down, and increase quality.
the game takes place on harvest, a human farm planet, that gets partially glassed causing part of the planet to go into a ice age like setting.
the planet is a "shield" planet. While there is no news on flood in the game, multiplayer will have a game-type which requires players to take forerunner bases and use them to manufacture sentinels to use against the enemy.
While i don't quite like the flood, i think they would be an interesting addition. similar to...
and any gpu can also do physics. Doesn't mean it's good at that.
Also, the raytracing video required 3 ps3 and an ibm blade.
I think that it's the best looking game released so far this generation.
The game looks great, and I can't wait to see what they'll be doing with it.
I'm sure they will continue you to offer more support for the next one.
you yourself listed a bunch of new improvments in animation.
But you also forgot about our physics and how those create more real, and life-like animations. And the engies for physics is always increasing.
I think this is a situation of capcom taking advantage of MS
Like last remnant will be timed exclusive, I think MS paid for that, but it was already going to be delayed for the xbox version due to development.
I think the same thing is happening here, development on the 360 version is ahead of it's ps3 counter-part so capcom offered to release the 360 version prior to the ps3 version for a sum of money.
capcom knows that it's not particularly smar...
