right? ..... RIGHT!?
just has a different opinion about the game then you.
google is just a lot better at hiding theres.
Hype sells consoles as much as games do. Sony was able to keep demand so high after the wii and 360 launched because of 2 things, the hype they generated (something which neither console could compete with) and the fanbase.
Sony is not in trouble with the ps3, they're never going to be in trouble with the ps3, if the sales maintain the way they are now then they're sitting easy well into next year when those games arrive. Things will only get better as the price drops, and hd ...
It looks like of gears of war in first person with weapons from cod4...
I can't tell the difference between the 2.
It might be an uphill battle come xmas though, specially with the economy in decline and such. Hopefully those 9 un-announced titles has some secrets to get users spending.
Yes, everything except the virus. Instead he had AI shoved into his brain, was put on experimental chemicals to enhance his body, the best in the USC spartan program, has red hair and is incredibly lucky, actually the only reason he became a spartan was because of a coin toss in which he called it. He was able to destroy the entire flood on his own.
MGS copied... lets see, the music is sviridov's winter road, the character is snake from escape from new york, and the story is a ...
Kojima has the inane ability to rip people off and it's fanboys will eat it up like no other. It's a trash story with, the philosphy is dubious, pointless and wrong in almost all cases, but for some stupid reason people think it's "deep". The characters are as flat as those found in any of the halo franchises comic books, there's no difference between Strong military dude MC and Strong military dude snake. Everything from character designs to music to story is stolen from other writ...
they story in halo doesn't become like the trash they used for mgs.
I know mistwalker is working on Cry on, maybe we can get a new glimpse of that. I don't think microsoft is going to let up now that they're making much more headway in japan.
Good job MS.
It's like what they did for tf2 on PC.
This game would've been absolutley amazing. It looked phenominal and was going to revolutionize player AI, unfortuneately the game never got completed and they ran out of resources.
a 214% increase is 214% + initial sales.
so, if someone sells 100x and sales are up 100% that means that the sales doubled, ie 100x(increase)+100x(initial sales). If something is up 200% it's up 200x(the increase)+100x(initial sales).
1% increase is actually 1.01, if sales were down to 1% then it'd be .01. If sales were at 214% then it'd be a 2.14 multiplier but sales are up by 214%.
Apple ipod isn't innovative, considering Creative labs created the first hdd based mp3 player.
And neither is the iphone because the palm's had touch screens too.
And that the wii isn't innovative because microsoft developed motion controls for the wing man a long time ago.
Innovation isn't invention, it's improvement and application. The cover system they designed was innovative because it was context sensative, something which wasn't popular befo...
Because you're not a software engineer.
Graphics very well may be topping in out, specially with regards to what they may be producing in their labs at valve, with the new engine they're working on ect. You have no idea what context that quote is in.
Not to mention some games are topping out what we can truly define, your render's aren't in realtime, and they're nevering going to be in realtime, that motion adds flexibility to what a human can dtermine as realis...
It would need to be a pre-rendered movie played through quick time events like the "gameplay" of heavy rain.
I bet it'll be mostly psn, soe, and psp titles.
I remember way back when people were arguing about SNES vs genesis and such, the problems were much more about games being delayed or broken at launch, at least now we have some means to fix the problem.
I think games need to be polished for launch, but adding features later on to the game because you wanted/had to get it into the players hands by a deadline is also as important, so why not cut the less important features till after.
wipEout is a better game imo, however to base this claim only on the fact that it's "next gen" or has "next gen" graphics is baseless. Lair has "next gen" graphics but I'd rather play rogue squadron or panzer dragoon orta any day, it's not a better game then many of the classics out there.
So my comment is directed at the retardedness of claiming superiorly of a game due to it's graphics and not to the online, environments, price, controls, story, ...
