This is similar to sony, you have odd commercials that tend to hold the attention of the market for longer but risk losing the average person because it's "too" bizarre, I bet eventually you'll see more regular adds along side these adds to garner attention.

My point isn't to offend, but to make you understand that to insult people who have different tastes then you, just because you dont see the value is only defining your own hypocrisy. Anyone can find a story moving or emotional if they actively work to understand it. I personally think halo's terminals, characters and ideals to be just as moving as Xenogears.
To me nothing seems more depressing then the thought of doing an action because you have to, and living your entire life...

Just because it doesn't have crysis graphics. Guess what you don't play graphics you play the game, and if the graphics do enough so that it enhances the gameplay, and makes up for it with art direction then it deserves the score. It seems like the only people who hate this game are those that have no friends to play it with.
so local multiplayer is a yes.
1, the community made maps and mods that are already in progress
2, the ai director and the endless, always changing game. Not a single playthrough will be the same.
3, the left for dead team will provide it's updates, much like the updates for tf2 have been kept up.
It's not the tool it's how you use it. I can find half life 2 mods that look as good as current generation videogames, and these are just mods, just look at black mesa source.

ICO is a labyrnth ripoff. But only an experienced gamer would know that.
Halo is a master piece in every way that ico is, whether or not you agree. The critics agree, the general populace agree (sales speak louder then words), the only ones who don't are PC and PS3 fanboys.
I would argue that MS owns as many top quality franchises as sony. The difference is that sony got a lot more attention last generation. And so many of them were a lot more known and better marketed.
I think mirror's edge looks better then gears of war 2. Same goes with prince of persia, art direction trumps tech 9 times out of 10. Not to mention the ps3 is just as limited, both are compared to PC.
It's a subjective point of view, where's the level editor, almost every game has a level editor now and days, there you go, it's not complete.
Great game, but nothing is "perfect" specially to the degree you tend to talk about.
They slowly want to ween the more hardcore crowed off of wow in favor to push SC2 and Diablo 3, and so that they can get them prepared for their next mmo. They know that last gen it was the more hardcore gamers that sold the gaming experience to their friends and they're going to rely on that for their next mmo too.
they'll support wow until it's no longer profitable but it'll start going down hill on word of the next expansion and the release of the next blizzard games.
