This feature makes me want a new Socom on the PS4.
They said the same thing about Battlefield 3 and it left me wanting more.

One event (E3) is not big enough for two major companies to show their new console. Staging your own event prior to E3 is the smart way to go. E3 should just be about games.
My guess is the basic version will be 349.99. In this is a console with very little memory(maybe 50 GB), one controller, and a 3 month playstaion world subscription.
Then the upgraded version will be 449.99. In this you'll get more GB, two controllers, and a one year subscription to playstation world
I think Sony wants every single person that buys a PS4 to automatically be subbed to PS world so if they buy again the transaction is smoother.

The way console gaming is going I'd say yes, it will die out next gen. These online passes, expensive consoles and games, preorder bonuses etc.. It's like they think the console gamer is made out of money. Then when you compare how much u have to pay to play on console compared to tablets and phone games, its clear where the casual will go.

Always online is an MS scam to get u to buy a subscription. That Hirschberg guy says the game won't have a subscription but fails to state Xbox live is a subscription and u need to have it to play. Remember like with cod, Activision gets a percentage from MS for live users, same will apply here so buying Xbox live subscriptions is just as important to them as a stand alone game subscription.

CoD is so dead by next-gen. Cod remained popular because it's still the only shooter on console that runs like a PC/next-gen game. By that I mean 60 frames, smooth and responsive controls. But when next-gen comes, you're going to see most shooters run at 60 frames which makes controls smoother and graphics brought more to life.
